Office Games: Making Time Fly

A lot of people are going to be out the rest of the week, but some of us are stuck punching the clock and making sure that the cogs of progress keep turning. That's okay.

It's a People Problem

And by sidekicks, I mean her chest, her short-shorts, and the perennial argument about the portrayal of women in video games. There seem to be two common approaches that get dragged out every time this comes up.

We got out the old Xboxen so we could play SystemLink, with a system in each room so there could be no screen-looking. I had been practicing, but it didn't help as much as I would hope.

The rest didn't really get into it as long as we didn't spill soda on the carpet.

Kids' Games are All Right

Avatar: The Last Airbender for the Wii is a mediocre game according to much of the gaming press. I'm not too surprised. I'd figured it wasn't the sort of thing that they rave about and those numbers don't bother me. If a game is rated E, you rarely get a decent idea of what it is like to play it from a lot of gaming websites and magazines. I don't get it.
