Aside from Â"˜The Week AheadÂ' IÂ'm happy to report that my only other content this week will be to say that the site is experiencing some technical difficulties. So here goes. *Ahem*

Server Issues and Moves

Some of you may have noticed some slow down and the occasional server outage over the past week or so. We're outgrowing our current server so we will be moving to a new one on Sunday night. Until then all I ask is that you remain calm and stay in your seats, everything is going to be ok.

Design Changes on GWJ

Due to my irrational fear of change Pyro had to tie me to a chair before he went crazy go nuts on the site. In an effort to kill the right-hand menus and eliminate the dead space at the top he's placed the main menu items there and shrunk poor Stan. The page should now display better on 800 X 600 and appear a bit less "empty" in spots.

GWJ Sells Out

That's right, the first group to offer us sacks of money has received some ad space along left hand side of the page. Ok well actually, we've been looking for ads to off-set the cost of running the site a bit without having to resort to pop-ups or seizure inducing banner ads.

Just a quick heads up to you.  We're doing some heavy work behind the scenes, integrating the forums and comments system.  The good news is that it's going well and we have the entire database connected instead of the double registration system where you had to register seperately with the front page and the forums.  The bad news is that we're using the forum database to link it all

First off, I'd like to join Elysium in welcoming you to the site! There are a few things you should know about the page and what's coming from a technical point of view. *Ahem*1) For now, you must register on both the main page and the forums separately if you wish to comment in both.
