Mike Evans > Marshon Lattimore
5 targets, 5 catches, 66 yards, 1 TD, and a drawn DPI in the end zone during the first half.
Also, seeing Baker Mayfield pancake Bobby Wagner on a scramble and literally run him over is the highlight of this game, regardless of who wins.
LOL, a game winning doink!
LOL, a game winning doink!
How many times did the kicker pat his hair\head as he was putting his helmet on.
I thought he was going to miss for sure and he almost did.
DOINK.
Was a hell of a year. Two offensive misfires in the 4th quarter (the fumble on the end around and Baker getting snapped the ball when literally nobody was ready to go) cost the game. I now look forward to endless screaming from Bucs fans about how it's all Bowles' fault when an injury-riddled defense gave up 23 to Jayden Daniels Jayden Daniels-ing the hell out of everything and ignoring all the offensive misfires in this one.
We got likely four at minimum solid starters out of the last draft, so next year when we have some cap space and can hopefully find an edge rusher who has a pulse, it's time to be a legitimate threat.
Shout the f*ck out to Wolf Blitzer's TV setup, straight out of 2003.
No notes.

In fairness to Wolf, the guy is probably NEVER at home, so why have a nice setup?
That said, I feel like that pic is more an indictment of him not having any friends in the Operations department that would be willing to hook a brother up.
Give the man credit; he knows where all of his remotes are.
Eagles RB Saquon Barkley's late slide in playoff win stymies bettors
Players never get killed for this kinda thing, right?

I have heard of superstitious athletes doing something like that five or seven or ten times, but that many?
Something came to mind yesterday as I was watching the Eagles do everything they could to not look convincing.
Sirianni is the only coach in the playoffs that could still get fired. I can't think of any that come to mind where a coach makes the playoffs but still gets fired because they lose in some fashion probably in the WC round.
Just feels like even if the Eagles lost a close game depending if it was at home or away and the size of the tantrum he throws + fans he tries to fight he could make the SB and still get fired.
Cowboys opening contract talks with McCarthy today. This just looks dumb.
Update: Still pretty dumb looking.

I know they have just announced that they are NOT going to, but I still think there is an outside chance that Tomlin is quietly told to update his resume. I think he gets way too much crap for playoff meltdowns in most cases because he hasn't had a real quarterback since about 2015 (the last year Ben Rapistburger wasn't fully washed), but his team on Saturday was nowhere near prepared enough to play in a playoff game. I get that he wasn't going to beat the Ravens, but how you lose is as important to evaluating your competence than that you do. He did not have his team ready and it showed. And his in game decisions (e.g.: the absolutely inexcusable surrender punt) didn't help his case either.
That game could easily have been 60-14 and the fact that it wasn't was not because the Steelers stopped the Ravens. It is because the Ravens wanted to keep the clock winding.

Adam Schefter of ESPN.com reports that no negotiations have occurred between McCarthy and the Cowboys.
So there weren't negotiations after all?
So then it seems like we landed at the expected result - the Cowboys letting McCarthy's contract expire - but they had to sprinkle some disinformation and confusion into the middle for no reason.
So McCarthy is out as Cowboys coach; the Bears requested an interview with him last week, and Dallas denied that request, and, per Schefter, there really weren't any negotiations for a new contract. So it pretty much looks Dallas just denied that interview request out of pure pettiness, and, that's just a great look for the organization.
McCarthy's the coach in Chicago now, right? Just totally makes sense, and is actually a good fit. Even if he's not getting you over the top, he can maybe get you to see that the top exists?

No, we must see how much more stupid we can make this.
Why would anybody with self respect go work for Jerruh?

Money + it can get you a job somewhere else after they let you go

You get to have sleepovers.
The big question at this point is whether the Cowboys go for the retread former coach, or the coordinator who most people think isn't ready to be HC. I don't think somebody like Ben Johnson/Aaron Glenn are going to be interested in working for Jerry, so it's going to be Ron Rivera or Mike Kafka, there's no in-between.

Pete Carroll is still around also and has been mentioned in some interview processes or at least 1 as I totally forgot he was still out there.
Timothy Burke brought back the HEYDARNOLD out indefinitely generator.
I am HERE for Pete trying anything in Dallas.
That would be epic.
Player friendly conspiracy theorist who wants to run an NFL program like a college campus, complete with regular woke activities like visiting the homeless community and going to player family functions while also wanting everyone in the building to "protect the team", meets the guy who only cares about money and plays all the drama games.
First Take will be all set on takes for as long as it lasts.
Carroll + Jerry would be the most ancient coach-GM combo in history, right?
I so want to see Jayden Daniels knock off the 1 Seed.

I dunno if the Commanders will be kicking many fgs next week unless they really really have to.

I dunno about that. The national impression isn’t the local impression. Nobody will ever be as popular as Buddy Ryan in terms of head coach in Philly but I think Siriani is safe. Now Kellen Moore on the other hand could be one and done. If he was suppose to fully unlock this offense he failed. Watching the all-22 there just wasn’t enough creativity in the pass game play calling wise. GB just basically said that there is no way we are going to let the Eagles pass against us and we will hope to slow them down as much as possible. Hurts got what he could for the most part. He may have missed at most 2 opportunities for positive pass plays but otherwise GB played a good defense scheme against a mediocre offensive scheme. Eagles did what little the could do purely from having more talent than GB in regards to Eagles offense vs GB defense.
Hurts is also not a QB that scrambles to make plays downfield with his arm. Especially if he’s flushed to the sidelines. He’s not comfortable making those kinds of throws. He’s a north south designed run play QB who can occasionally hit a broken play if he gets a lane and a few yards to build up some momentum. He’s not explosive as a runner.
Fair enough that makes sense especially Kellen Moore.
I do reserve a * that Sirianni fights someone and they just have to mutually part ways.
The only positive from the game for the Packers was actually the defense. Hafley got them to do enough especially with what he had to work with.
Packers have 50m~ in cap space this off-season and no big names that need to be re-signed. The D will get a boost just TBD on the size of the splash.
I'll do a post mortem at some point but ya. Things are not bad at all.
Yeah they will surely be in the mix to overpay for Zack Baun. But I’m fairly sure he ends up in Jacksonville who always seems to love overpaying for system guys.

They didn't punt last night because they went for it on fourth down FIVE times. They clearly don't want to bother with FGs and just go for it almost every time anyways.
