GWJ Supporters For 2024!

Happy new year one and all as we step into 2025! It’s that special time of year when we take a moment to appreciate the folks who support GWJ financially so we can remain a vital, spritely old website. We are just a few days away from our community’s 22nd anniversary, and some of the folks we’ve tagged have been donating every single year since we opened ourselves up to the possibility that the site may last more than a few months. A note about the golden icons. In case you’re new around here, we “tag” our donors in the forums with a golden icon each year that appears under their usernames. You start with a gold key, and it changes for each year that you donate. There are twenty golden icons in total, along with some folks who have custom icons from donation drives in the past. We haven’t actually made new icons for donations # 21 or 22. There’s been a sort of creative block around adding more, and twenty is such a nice, round number. We’re open to feedback or suggestions on that front, but for now we’re going to keep it capped at twenty unless some new inspiration strikes.

As we talked about last year, we held off on tagging our beloved donors until the end of 2024 to make sure everyone was accounted for and we could get them all at once. You’ll find the list below. If you’re missing from the donor list just let us know and we’ll be sure to get you added and tag your account! You can use the contact form at the top of the page or drop me a DM.
