PS5 Headset Recomendations

I have a Pulse 3D and have enjoyed it. I am looking to upgrade, though, and was planning on grabbing the Pulse Elite until I read some reviews about the mic (and one review that said they found voices in multiplayer games hard to hear).

Curious for any recommendations. Happy with what I have but interested in other possibilities.

My Pulse 3D was dying, so I got the Pulse Elite a few weeks ago, and generally I've liked it. It fits a bit different than the Pulse 3D, and I have not used the mic. However, the best selling point for me was the ability to have another Bluetooth audio source along with the PS5 audio. It's like going from one monitor to two.

I'll throw a heavy recommendation behind my Steelseries Arctis 7 Nova Headset. It's got the outstanding sound of my Sennheiser HD480's but with better bass & the mic quality is superb too.

I have an Arctis 7 (not Nova) that I got like 7 years ago. Still performs great, but at some point in the last 2 years, the plastic sheathe around the mic started getting caught on the housing, and right now its one bad tug away from breaking. It really is a great headset, but i'm wondering if the Nova's fixed this design flaw.

I'm very happy with my Pulse Elite and my mic quality has been great. If you own a PSVR2 it's important to know you put on the Pulse Elite before the PSVR2 and it's very comfortable.

I’m old enough to remember when headsets for Sony platforms was a joke around here.

I've had no problems with the housing catching the mic every time I pull it out or push it back into the slot. I've had mine for just under a year now if memory serves me.
