Oh God, the slander if Serbia finishes this off............
That was exciting.
Tried to bet USA at half but the ML was still -500.

They could probably double the 100m distance and make Lyles run it again.
No idea what they'd call it though.
It's incredible he came third with Covid.

If she was wearing a Chinese jersery the coverage would be a lot different (not saying there is anything dodgy going on)
Britain win a gold in the climbing and the kid is 19, he didn't even realise he had won for a good 30 seconds, it was so pure.

In swimming, sure, and for good reason given the number of times they've been caught doping. But AFAICT, that suspicion doesn't extend beyond the pool. Not even to the dive tank, where they dominate an entire sport like nothing I can remember ever seeing before.
US Athletes discover free health care
The article does make a point that athletes at the Olympic Village have had access to free healthcare during the games since 1932, but most of them don't realize it.
Cubans really have a thing for jumping, don't they?

This.
I doubt doping in diving matters (?) and in the pool it's absolutely an issue because they have gotten caught multiples times. As did the other authoritarian countries throughout the years.

Missed it live but the Canadian coverage of it was amazing. This link probably only works for the Canucks.
best part is seeing each guy after the hand offs yelling go go go as they know they are flying.
All 4 didn't even make the 100m final and De Grasse has been nursing an injury. Donovan Bailey in the studio also cheering them on.
That women's water polo bronze medal game was crazy.
Also had to laugh/be impressed that one of the NED player's last name is Wolves.
Metal as f*ck.
Emma Hayes, I love you.
Steph just took over. That was fun. 4 3s in the final 3 minutes and the last 2 were figuring double teams
That man has made the jump shot as exciting as a dunk.
If he's hot, he will just rip your heart out, and all you can do is watch. Like watch France's bench in the highlights, you can see their hearts just being slowly stomped on.
He is a mean, mean man.
EDIT:
Steph Curry was a combined *17-for-26* from three in the semifinal & gold medal game.
17 threes in a two-game span
Best shooter ever. No-one else is even close.
A gold for Portugal. That's nice.
And this is very, very nice.
Caught the end of the France vs USA basketball women game. Heartbreak for France but need to have better court awareness in those situtions, as she stepped just inside the line.
Welp, time for the rest of America to start pretending we don't know Los Angeles.
If there's anything I learned from these Olympics, France winning a Gold in basketball is a matter of when, not if. And when will be soon.
What the hell am I supposed to watch during the day now?
That's not usually during the day. And, there's only one game a day (that I care about).
I assume the Paralymics is only going to be on Peacock. It would be nice if they put it on TV. It's not like the shit they have on USA and E! during the day is important.

Yeah weekdays, that's usually only on Wed because Thurs is travel day. Maybe 1 other time a week you'll get a rain makeup game

I wouldn't be too sure, home Olympics always produce top efforts from teams across the board and the next Olympics is in LA, I mean the world would laugh for days if either US teams managed to not win the basketball in LA.
Oh, it doesn't have to be in 2028, but I think they're absolutely getting one within the next 4 summer Olympic cycles.
There's a guy in the Paralympics high jump that's just jumping on one leg. Everybody else (that I've seen) has a prosthesis so they can still get a run up to the bar. He's just hopping on one leg and then jumping over a 6'3" bar. Just give him the medal. Even if he doesn't win the event, he's better at jumping than anybody else.
