MLB 2024 Season - October is Upon Us

Hey what's Ichiru up these day--

Crushing it against high school girls, apparently.

If you (like me) were too young for Fernandomania, the 30 for 30 on it is really, really great.

OMG people loved them some Fernando!
Talk about my childhood... wow.

I mean, I wanna catch a ball too, but I definitely don't want to get tossed out of a World Series game.

This series is quickly living up to expectations.

Did he actually maybe prevent a HR? Kinda the best result for the Dodgers by catching that.

No it was clearly staying in. Might have been a single.

yeah, deffo wasn't gonna be a HR. If anything, like Mao said, it gave Soto a base.

Now, speaking totally personally, I do not feel safe with this bullpen and fully expect the Yankees to lose on a walk-off.

Extra innings are potentially worse for the Dodgers given their limited number of starting pitchers

LOL @ Rizzo

One baserunner and Ohtani gets the potential final at bat.

This is great for a neutral. I, however, hate it.

I swear to God if this Isekai-ass motherf*cker pulls some Naruto shit again....

Same. While my Fitbit only shows a slightly elevated pulse, BP is another story

Edit: well that was fast

Edit edit: that was fast too. Dammit.

LOL.

Fu-cking hell.

Well, again, if you're a neutral, you are getting your money's worth.

Walk off grand slam hell yes

Yeah, the Yankees are officially f*cked now.

Whoa

I do have one takeaway from this, which is that Aaron Judge has chosen the worst possible time to be under the Mendoza Line.

If history is any guide, the Yankees will lose this series, win next year against the Mets after an earthquake devastates New York, lose to the Reds the year after, and then spend the next 35 years fading into complete obscurity.

ironically it was a (usually) starter who blew it. I’m just amazed it wasn’t Holmes.

But really the Yankees errors gave this win away.

I just want to note for the record that the Japan Series also starts today, and the starting pitcher for the Yokohama Baystars looks a lot like Jeffrey McWild from Virtua Fighter.

(I had to tell somebody..)

Freddie is on one foot, and is still mashing.

Healthy Aaron Judge is a non-factor.

:(

physically healthy, definitely not mentally healthy. Soto and Stanton cannot carry this team.

Ohhh f*ck. I want the Yanks but I sure hope Ohtani's ok

First pitch swingin'.

Oy.
