MLB 2024 Season - Judge is Abusrd, Ohtani Is Ridiculous

Back to back to back, no 51...

Stanton put it well the other day, Judge is playing a video game

If you wrote him as a character in a story, you'd get booed out of a creative writing class.

My wife is obsessed with him and is constantly watching clips and entire Dodgers games just to catch a glimpse of him.

Fumble Dimension: Oops! All Ohtani!

So far, no MLB team has 80 wins yet.

The Chicago White Sox have 103 losses (and 31 wins!)

I wonder how many they'll draw in 2 weeks when they host the A's.

Man, Id damn near take a day off to attend The Toilet Bowl.

Y'all want to feel old? Darren Baker just got his first hit on the first pitch he saw in the bigs today.

See, now he's SUPPOSED to be in the batter's box.

I predict we'll see the first member of the 54/61 club this year.

Make the White Sox stop.

Like, this is just embarassing.

Can we relegate them and promote whoever the best AAA team is this year?

white sox are 5-45 in their last 50 games. i dont even know how that is possible

no team has been this bad across 50 games in over 100 years

I have no idea who said this, but a piece of wisdom I once heard was:

The best thing about baseball is the best teams lose 50 games and the worst teams win 50 games.

That person never saw these White Sox.

And I am sad the Guardians haven’t had a larger bite of that apple.

Spoiler:

Except right now they are only .500 against them

That ninth inning Rangers rally was one for the books.

Holmes has I believe 11 blown saves this year. As they say, you can't spell "closer" without "loser".

Mariners have lost their last four games by one run, three of which came in the bottom of the 9th.

That's the true Seattle Mariners experience.

A short reprieve, at least.

That is one hell of a look of disbelief.

This is looking likely to be the first full season in 10 years to have no 100+ win teams.

Eh, who cares, we're all waiting to see if we'll have a 120-loss team.

Imagine how average the league would be if the a Sox were just bad and not a historically terrible dumpster fire?

I didn't realize this until today, but if Shohei wasn't A.) Shohei and B.) Doing Shohei things, Francisco Lindor would have a real shot at MVP this year.

I also love that somehow, despite having a payroll of the GDP of Guatemala, the Mets are once again the scrappy underdogs trying to make it into the playoffs.

I realized I forgot how BIG he is.

He genuinely may do 50/50. A rehabbing pitcher has 21 games to hit 5 more HRs and steal 4 more bases.

He's also hit 6 home runs in his last 7 Friday games. Dude enjoys the weekend kickoff.

Jesus the Mets have the worst luck.
