NFL 2023: The Week 18 thread

Moody not perfect inside 40 anymore.

Currently, the Saints are losing 7-6 to the Packers and 10-3 to the Seahawks. What? There are other teams involved?

Congrats to the Bucs for being crowned Kings of Trash Mountain (aka the NFC South).

The Kings of Trash Mountain have a very good chance of winning a home playoff game this year, given who they are most likely to play.

Edit: For those who don't want to click-through, imagine 1979, creamsicles, and Ron Jaworski being sacked by Lee Roy Selmon.

The eagles are trash

The NFL app just gave me a popup of the score with the title "Upset Alert".

I don't know what they've been watching for the past few weeks, but it clearly hasn't been the Iggles if they think this is any kind of surprise.

If the season was 20 weeks long, the Eagles would miss the playoffs.

And missed a PAT.

Legion, comments?

I guess Washington is done pretending to make things interesting.

Moody set the record for most consecutive PATs. The football gods had to intervene.

Here too, the football gods intervened because they couldn’t risk the Legion Super Bowl.

But we can still have Stele Bowl?

Ravens Niners woo

No, we already did that. It’s time for, uh… Niners Steelers.

Nathan Peterman sighting!

Overthrowing a WR screen on 3rd and 22 is not going to convince your team not to use the #1 pick on a different QB.

Good job Green Bay. Seachickens out

Saints out of playoffs, Falcons in disarray, such a good day.

What a Sam Darnold way to lose that game.

Rams finally found the formula for beating the Niners in the regular season: wait for them to secure the #1 seed and put in Darnold.

QB needy teams, your guys are right here.

"No thanks" - QB needy teams

Wentz with 17 carries for 56 yards

Antonio Pierce should be the next head coach of the Raiders. However, since it's the Raiders, they'll try to get Jim Harbaugh instead.

Arizona couldn't even finish off the Seachickens with a missed 51yd FG as time expired.

Packers vs Cowboys?

O wow. My favorite team in the playoffs to beat. It's always nice to have the collective bandwagon of pretty much every NFL fan jumping on for one game.

I'm sure there's even some NFC North fans who are even fine with the Packers winning when it's the Cowboys.

Double congrats: The Panthers are the first team in NFC history never to lead in the fourth quarter.

Way to go, guys. Pick up your game checks and GTFO. And take that worthless GM with you. Try not to lose any more draft picks on the way out. And please don't step on the QB. He has been sacked enough this season.

And Prater missed a shorter attempt a little earlier in the game.

Lions v Rams should be fun?

Imagine being a Jags fan and being forced to sit through the Golden Globes.

Think of it this way; you helped keep both the Saints and Falcons out of the playoffs!
