One down. Now get that cornerback.
Of the trades for Sweat and Young, I'm going to suggest one of those is potentially somewhat more logical than the other.
Jaylon Johnson trade sounds like it might be a 3 team race between the Niners, Bills, and Eagles.

It’ll be interesting to see if Young is purely a rental player, as is probably expected, or if the Niners end up trying to retain him beyond this year. They’ve been looking for that Dee Ford speed rusher since Ford, and Young could be that.
It would be hilarious if the Niners kept Young but the Bears couldn’t work it out with Sweat.
EDIT: It cost the Niners a 3rd round pick to trade for Young. If he walks after this year, they would probably get close to that in a compensatory pick, especially if he plays well in a Niners uniform.
Jaguars trade for G Ezra Cleveland from the Vikings, which reunites Cleveland with his old O-line coach.
Baalke may have snatched one out from under his old team, as it sounds like the Niners may have had at least passing interest in Cleveland, after Aaron Banks sustained an injury that will shelf him for at least a couple games following the bye week.
We're just going to use his last name only to confuse people, aren't we?
Rasul Douglas to the Bills.
49ers should of snatched him.
Jaylon Johnson goes to… nobody.
Guess the Bears were asking too much.
Apparently the 49ers and Giants came to an agreement for a trade for Adoree Jackson, but the useless f-ing Giants front office didn't report it to the league in time.
Stupid Giants
