NFL 2023: The Week 3 Thread

Oh no! The Jags suck again!

Miami put 49 on the Broncos in 3 quarters. Yikes.

It's remarkable just how sorry the Broncos have been over the last two seasons, especially this time with a new head coach and new ownership.

I glanced at the tv at the pool bar just in time to see Wilson about get his receiver killed and that made my day. Honestly, I’ll trade the Seahawks being shitty every year for everyone hating Russ’ cornball ass until he retires.

Colts/Ravens and Jets/Patriots have involve the losing team giving up a safety in the last 3 minutes, then rallying on defense to get a stop and the ball back.

Wow Justin Tucker is short on a 61-yd game-winning attempt!

I take it back, they look sorrier than ever today.

Dammit. Ravens OT

Up to 70 a bit more than halfway through the 4th.

Frankly, they missed a really nice opportunity by making that last PAT.

That Jets/Pats game was awful.

Despite the refs' best attempts to keep the home team in the game, the Patriots hang on and defend a Hail Mary attempt.

Oh and hey the Chargers are Chargering again.

I'd laugh at the Saints but the comeback involved Rashan Gary crunching Derek Carr. No replays on the play but live it looked like Gary might have whipped him down.

Jordan Love 4th quarter come back!

Taylor Swift is apparently at Arrowhead. If she gets spotted doing the chop, the next American Civil War's going to kick off overnight.

University of Miami running up the score against FCS Denver.

But the Vikings have Vikinged harder.

Brandon Staley's going to stay employed tomorrow.

Amazing.

For the love of God, keep that right arm at chest-to-waist level, regardless of how much the crowd's trying to egg you on.

It's starting to look like JuJu Smith-Schuster might end up being a worse FA signing for the Patriots than Jonnu Smith.

Ravens shouldn't have punted from midfield. Surrender index high on that one and they lost

Edit:

BAL decided to punt to IND from the IND 44 on 4th & 6 with 7:06 remaining in OT while tied 19 to 19.

With a Surrender Index of 80.78, this punt ranks at the 100th percentile of cowardly punts of the 2023 season, and the 99.7th percentile of all punts since 1999.

"I loooooooooove trash!"

So . . . the Taylor Swift/Travis Kelce thing was not a joke?

Or they're having a joke on the rest of us. A bait-and-switch a la the 2023 Cardinals.

DU doesn't even play football. Miami gave up 20 points to a hockey team.

I am legitimately impressed at how bad the slate of late games is. Likely playoff teams vs. potentially the three worst teams in the league? That takes effort.

Dallas is losing though

The Chiefs (Taylor's version) are up 31-0 over the Bears in the first half. We may have two teams put up 70 points on the same day.
