NFL 2023: The Week 2 thread

Cards gotta get credit for coming up with a new way to tank that's interesting to watch.

Do you just have a document with a list of words you came up with for "kicked" and you're just working your way down it as the season progresses?

No, I need to make one. I’m realizing my mistake of not being prepared as Moody LAUNCHES these kicks.

I’m sure I will run out of words before Moody runs out of kicks though.

Moody again. Niners back up 10

Moody SKIDS one.

How'bout that sliding kick by Moody?

Jake Moody CHIPS IN the short 26-yard kick for his 3rd of the day, maintaining that 3 FG per game scoring rate that I projected last week, keeping his record-setting pace.

I'm just gonna pretend the Giants suddenly lit a fire under their own arses and are about to go on a winning streak for the ages.

Zach Wilson is also making the case for the Jets to trade for Cousins.

If the Jets wait until the trade deadline to make a move, they may have too many losses at that point for it to matter. They need to find a solution sooner rather than later.

I think it needs to be Jarrett Stidham time in Denver.

I'd probably take the L for a healthy Saquon.

Rams kick last second field goal just to piss off betters by keeping the Niners from covering -7.5.

Rams screw the 7.5 spread with that 00 FG

Niners have won 9 of last 10 vs Rams and 6 of the 9 by double digits. Today should have been 7

tryna figger out whos the bigger dickbags for makin me look like a dumbass for my posts upthread cardinals or giants

I hope the first half Giants show up on TNF next week, and not the second half Giants.

The Cards may be my favorite team to watch this season, like the 2022 Broncos all over again.

Denver hail mary!

But no 2 points to tie. Looked like blatant DPI

SPEAKING OF DENVER!

92 of Russ’s 308 yards came in the last minute of the game.

Jets: “We’re gonna protect Zach with our run game”

Breece Hall: 9 yards

Dalvin Cook: 7 yards

Run game dries up quick when they know you can’t throw.

Based on the first few running plays, it looked the other way around. They tried to run the ball and couldn't, all that was left was the pass.

Watch out, Jake Moody. Here comes Chad Ryland!

When the other team’s QB is Zach Wilson, you don’t need to wait for him to prove that he can’t beat you through the air. You can squat on the run game from the very first snap, and wait for Zach to prove otherwise.

Speaking of the Jets, they’re already in the social media drama stage of their season…

That was a hell of a lateral. Too bad

I am very unhappy that Cole Strange was ruled short.

Me too...

The Pats lost both games by 1 score and both games ended with a Pats 1st down getting reversed. That's cruel.
