He didn’t get away with it, he was fined £30k and given a one match suspended ban.
Punishments are meant to fit the crime. I’d argue Bellingham’s was respectively a lot harsher than Demiral’s.
Really looking forward to the quarters and wondering if someone has managed to persuade Ronaldo that he can be a real asset to Portugal just so long as he doesn't have to make it ALL about him still.

I don't think it was harsh at all. 30k is peanuts for him. Not even that.
Why even give him the match suspension to be served at later date? Just fine him, no match ban, and get on with it. Of course the Turkish will be furious their player can't play the next 2 games.
