NCAA Football 2023/2024 Season Catch All!

A note about popular songs in stadiums that was inspired while scrolling X/Twitter:

Why is Michigan so proud of playing Mr. Brightsides? It's a song about being cheated on.

On the other hand, Virginia Tech entering to Enter Sandman is great.

But somehow Cal puts it all together and wins it easily 58-21. Can't remember the last time we dropped 50 on anyone. I know its North Texas, but if you've learned anything about being forced to follow Cal via my posts here, you know nothing is guaranteed.

GO BEARS!

Congrats to Cal's Football team outscoring your Basketball team.

We avoid Colorado this year.. unfortunately we will be playing him when he goes back to Florida State after this season.

Or Mike McCarthy's hot seat in Dallas just reached the temperature of the surface of the sun and if he sneezes wrong way this season Deion's the next head coach of the Cowboys.

I'm still laughing about them acting like Harbaugh is being held prisoner in Tehran.

Like, f*ck the NCAA and the whole thing is silly and stupid, but Oh My God.

The thing Michigan did wrong was cooperating with the NCAA.

Maybe they SHOULD like Mr. Brightside. They are the cheaters?

We are trying to give this damn game away. We look like crap and need to fix so many things in the second half if we want to be relevant

Hey you got 2 nice 4th down stops.

LSU could have taken easy FGs and be up 9. Weird.

True, but between the stupid penalties, our best receivers dropping the ball and Jordan Travis not playing the way I expected for a guy with his experience, it’s kind of frustrating. Not to put down LSU in any way, but I was hoping for more discipline from us

I thought you were supposed to Tank for Prime.

I don’t think we can afford Prime any more

Guess you're feeling a little better up 14 though.

Yeah. A little. LSU is still really good. But I think we looked better in the 2nd half

I wasn't even following the game, but I knew what was happening when someone online said that tigerdroppings has crashed.

Hooooooo-boy, hope Brian's got some insulated pants.

I didn't really see what got LSU so hyped up this year. I think they're still a year or so out from having the roster to earn the hype they got preseason. They're claim to fame last year was beating Alabama, but they lost other key games over the course of last season. I assume they'll be second or third in the SEC West. And that's not a bad finish for a year 2 coach, even after a fortuitous season 1 when Alabama stumbled and left the division wide open for somebody to grab.

Vandy has a better record than LSU, Florida, and South Carolina.

Come on so does Kentucky. But non conference games are not equal. That's silly.

Louisville, on the other hand, stands alone in 1st place in the ACC.

Yes Clemson or Duke will tie us after tomorrow's game. But for 3 days we're #1.

It was a joke. I know Vandy hasn't played anyone comparable.

And LSU is looks really good, just not yet great. Around where I see my Vols.

Chicken soup for the Gator hating soul!

Ah, College Football, where you get to regularly see beatdowns that should qualify as felonies.

To wit, the stats from UTPB's 96-0 win over Texas College.

For a special bonus, find the referee's name.

As Mina Kimes said online, it fits that the year before they blow the whole thing up, they could end up having a fantastic year.

Butch Jones nods and silently sheds a single tear.

Who broke Clemson? Was it South Carolina? Or was it Tennessee?

I mean, their offense hasn't been the same since the Dawgs beat them 10-3 to start the 21 season.

What a satisfying first week, starting with the the Florida loss and ending with Clemson being embarrassed by DUKE!

As a Tennessee fan who heard Dabo say that the Vols were at home flipping burgers after being beat by South Carolina to say his team should be in the playoffs...right before HE was beat by South Carolina:
