NFL 2022: The Week 14 thread

Ugh. Ravens out another QB. Looks like undrafted rookie Anthony Brown in at QB.

Ravens with 3 INTs though, defense keeping them in it

Vikings are currently back to a negative point differential over the course of the season thanks to being down by 12 to the Lions. Announcers mentioned they have been outgained by an average of 63 yards/game this year.

Ravens survive battle of attrition in Pittsburg

WTF Jax? Picking on the injured Titans defense?

What the hell? Saturday football next week?! And Sunday?!

And the same for Christmas Eve and Day?!

What a month!

The Lions emptied the playbook today and pulled the upset against Minnesota. Eagles clinch playoffs and seem headed for a #1 seed. The Texans were pretty close to upsetting Dallas.

First play of Bucs-Niners, Keanu Neal gets a free run and Brock Purdy and hammers him, but, for some dumb-ass reason, decides to lower his helmet and nail Purdy right in the head. So, instead of a sack, it's roughing, and the Niners march down the field and score.

Purdy definitely beating Succop in the battle of Mr. Irrelevants so far.

Trubiski has always had a hell of an arm, but he makes really bad decisions. The Ravens were not going to put up 20 points. All he had to do is not cough up the ball.

I am absolutely expecting the 49ers to paste the Bucs today; the Bucs' offensive line is going to get eaten alive by the 49ers defensive line, and Vita Vea went out on the first series, so the 49ers running game is going to feast. Christian McCaffery killing the Bucs is basically a tradition.

Donovan Smith is not good at football.

It sucks that we were robbed of the Brady vs. Jimmy narratives for this game.

Oh my, Chiefs up 27-0 at Denver after this pick six.

Purdy 9-11, 109 yds, 1 TD. 1 rushing TD
Deebo with the other TD

21-0

Halfway through the 2nd.

Looks like you're gonna get Purdy v Lance narratives instead.

I know people have been saying it for weeks now, but I am genuinely astonished at the Russell Wilson fall-off.

Like, I don't think anyone saw this fall-off coming.

Deebo down with injury. I swear to God if it's serious...

Can you just chill out on the Niners, Football Gods?

I really enjoyed him stiff arming Russ as he ran by

Goddammit I hate the injury cart.

It must be nice to have league average injury luck. I wonder what that's like.

The football gods are obviously in Seattle, where the Panthers are up 6 right before half.

BEARDED HEYDARNOLD looks ... not terrible!

Weren't they up 17 earlier?

Yeah it was 17-0, it's stuck on my TV. Ugh.

Meanwhile, f*ck Tom Brady crying for a flag. Nice pass in the dirt on 4th down too, old man

Purdy sure has big... chutzpah.

Shanahan has 28, now the Niners need to score again before Brady gets a field goal.

Yep. And then the football gods sobered up. Geno Smith being good is already MAXIMUM CHAOS. Losing to BEARDED HEY DARNOLD would be way too much for one season.

Brady hit his hand on a helmet.

PUT IN GABBY!
