AAAARGH! I really want to play Pentiment!

I need it to come out on PlayStation (yeah right) or boot the kids off the family PC.

In terms of DLC that radically shift how the base game is played, my mind went immediately to "The Way of Life" DLC for Crusader Kings 2. It changed the game up so radically that eventually Paradox added an option when starting a new game to prevent NPCs from choosing the Seduction focus to prevent things from getting out of control.

I used to love DLC but lately I am usually over the game by the time it comes out. I spent so much time playing Assassin's Creed Valhalla and I loved it, but I basically have zero interest in playing more of that game and they have released a ton of DLC for it. But if they were to release new DLC for any of the Mass Effect games I would start a new play through in a minute. Same for Skyrim or Fallout 4 (or even Fallout 3 or New Vegas, but Fallout 76 and Elder Scrolls Online just weren't for me) so I guess it really depends on the game.

thank you everyone for being kind about how wrong I am (and will continue to be) about midnight suns.
