Not sure how a team didn't make the Lakers pay more for Reaves.
Dillon Brooks is 4/80 but Reaves is 4/56.
Essentially collusion between GMs IMO.

He's by far the lesser Van Gundy. Good riddance
While I agree The Younger is much worse, he's still a giant compared to many other commentators. Is Mark Jackson still there?
I wish there was a way to get unfiltered SVG broadcasts. That would be epic.
This is roughly where I stand. Stan is better, but JVG is far more entertaining and informative than Mark Jackson.
Yeah, any Van Gundy is better than Mark Jackson. Even Gundy van Gundy.
Victory Wembanyama is very popular in San Antonio already. So popular that Spurs security ended up slapping... *checks notes*... Britney Spears.
IT'S JULY

We got to install microwave ovens
Custom kitchen deliveries
We got to move these refrigerators
We got to move these colour TVs

You will all be thankful to know no charges will be filed as it appears she hit herself

Homeboy hasn't played a single minute yet and this is his first headline after getting drafted. Dude hasn't even made a single layup and he has got HATERS now, they will be praying on his downfall.
I keep thinking about what this would have been like during David Robinson's rookie year and I keep trying to picture who the slapped celebrity would have been. Cher?
Nah, Robinson's rookie year was '89, same year that "If I Could Turn Back Time" was a hit.
My vote is Olivia Newton-John.
Someone who was really big about 20 years before so late 60s
Someone who was really big about 20 years before so late 60s
Diana Ross?
The thing about Britney is she was so BIG and then hated and then disappeared and then became a sympathetic figure with a hardcore fanbase. Not too many people have that kind of arc.
The only celeb I can think of who went from being big to being disappeared and back to big again in that time frame is the late, great Tina Turner.
I think my biggest take away from what I saw from Wemby tonight is damn he's young. But for his age he's so polished.
At 19 he might not really be a force for even 3 years. But even then if he's starting to pick up steam at 22 he has so much runway.
Dude hasn't even made a single layup and he has got HATERS now, they will be praying on his downfall.
Britney Stan accounts posting Wemby struggle clips lmaooo incredible
On third thought, this would be as if Zsa Zsa Gabor fans back in the 90s decided to go ACAB on Compuserve.
Players can ask all they want, the managers and owners don’t have to do anything. I agree what has been happening the last few years is not sustainable, one of these teams needs to just say too bad, play or don’t get paid.

Best part for me is....
In the report, police said surveillance footage of the event “showed Britney going to tap the Spurs player on the shoulder. When she touched the player (redacted) pushes her hand off of the player without looking which causes Britney’s hand to hit herself in the face.”
On another note as a Blazer fan I’m finding the latest turn with Dame really frustrating.
I appreciate his prior loyalty and all of that. It was fine for a while there. I just don’t understand the point of signing contracts if you’re going to almost immediately ask for a trade. This is the kind of thing that eventually could lead to a lockout. Why not just get rid of Bird rights and put ever player on a series of 1 year “contracts”?
I feel like Dame has been pretty amicable working with the Trail Blazers and this ultimately came to a headway more because of management not putting together a competitive team.
This isn't Harden, Kyrie and Durant level ridiculous. Also I doubt we get to that point.
As for specifically wanting to go to Miami TBD how all that plays out but best thing Trailblazers can do at this point is tell Dame it will happen but maybe get ready to hang out until Xmas even if need be.
I think the more problematic part is if a player forces their way out but also it tanks their value and the team is essentially getting 25/100 back on top of it.
The Warriors trading him:
A). Deeply caused him to question his self worth and professional abilities
B). Allowed the other players to unload their true feelings about him
C). Both?
Better tonight, although we REALLY could live without the NBA calling 27 and 12 in the summer league a "MONSTER DOUBLE-DOUBLE."
NBA's afraid of the Britney stans.
Kemba Walker signs one-year contract with AS Monaco
Speaking as a soccer fan, this story had me VERY confused initially.
Also, now that summer league is over, it's gotta be nearly time for a new thread?
