Clips acquire Russ Westbrook
Clips go 0-5 in their first 5 games with him.
It's not just him, but that video of Draymond just giving him the open jumper has been going around, and it's all just sad to see dude going out like this.
Ja probably has 1 (or several) hangers on that he needs to cut out of his life. Considering the previous post game threats coming from his entourage. Get those bad influences out of his life or he'll keep getting sucked into dangerous behavior
To be fair, as Bomani pointed out, we all keep on talking about the people around him, but in all of these incidents, he himself has been a primary instigator. It ain't just his crew.

100% this.
His podcast about Ja's dad racing out of the house, "Ja, noooo!!!" during that teenager pickup game thing says it all.
What. The. f*ck.
This happened near the local mall.
Dude is 53, has a local, legal cannabis retail shop (two of them!), is well known in the area for being a guy that is sort of in the suburban dad phase of life? Like, how is he possibly involved as the shooter (!!!) at the mall at 2 in the afternoon on a Wednesday?
Kemp's attorney, Scott Boatman, said in a statement to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski on Thursday that Kemp's car was broken into and numerous items, including an iPhone were stolen. Kemp tracked his iPhone to an occupied car, and was shot at when he approached the vehicle. Kemp then returned fire in self defense, Boatman says.
Man. Sucks to see your team lose, but seeing them lose after winning by 89 points really sucks.
What is that Clifford Huxtable sweater Lebron is rocking tonight on the bench? Yikes!
That old-ass man, man.
You know, when Bomani said he didn't think Ja would be back this season, I thought he was being hyperbolic, but.... yeah, that might be Ja's season done.
I'm glad he's getting help. Mental health is no joke.
Glad to see Jim Caldwell is nurturing career paths outside the NFL coaching carousel.
If I'm Blake Griffin, I'm filing an injunction.
Michael Jordan in talks to sell majority stake in Hornets, sources say
S'not like things could get worse.
He seems really unhappy.
RIP Willis Reed.
Hall of Famer Willis Reed has passed away at 80 years old. A Knicks legend, Reed is a two-time NBA champion, two-time Finals MVP, 1970 MVP award winner and was named to the 75th Anniversary team.
LOL, Bomani with a great trivia question/joke today:
Without looking, can you name the all-time leading scorer for the Clippers?
Hint: You're probably wrong.
Jordan nwora ties Reggie Miller franchise record of 25 points in a quarter today. Go off young man.

Maybe Blake Griffin or Elton Brand.... but probably not because they didn't stick around.

Danning Manning.
Danning?
Geez. Danny.
Per Basketball reference, Blake is #2, Brand is #4, Manning is #7.

I think when teams move cities all of their records should reset. Also to be honest I never heard of him, a little before my time.
If you look at the full list List of National Basketball Association franchise career scoring leaders
It's actually a fun game of your team had a real iconic player or an ok player who was just there long enough (sorry DeMar I'm looking at you for the Raptors). Obviously some teams are hurting because of franchise length. (Mike Conley JR Grizz)
Other bucket is maybe a pretty important player in that era but I'm really not familiar with their body of work. Highest total for a player I've never heard of or totally forgot about goes to Walter Davis of the Suns. If some one was quizzing my knowledge and I pretended to know him I'd be totally lying.
Brook Lopez for the Nets? Yikes!
Brook Lopez is kinda topical actually.
Bill Simmons covered him last week and argued if you needed a player from the 2008 draft to play now he's actually the best player (of the few actually left playing).
He's not wrong.
But ya the Nets have been around a whole lot longer than I realized which makes that embarrassing. They also don't have anyone on their current roster that you would peg as a franchise player who will chase that down. So Brook Lopez will be the all time Nets top scorer for the foreseeable future.
Walter Davis is the leader for the Suns but Devin Booker is going to chase him down soon (15,500 vs 12500)
