To Spain's credit, they're better than Cyprus.

Going to be some drunk people in Scotland tonight. Not because of the football, just because it's Tuesday.

Not home yet but definitely a couple on my return!

I look forward to speaking INCREDIBLY LOUDLY to my Scottish colleagues during teams calls tomorrow. It should be tremendous fun. For me.

One of my favorite parts of the game today is watching people argue over what is a volley and what is a half-volley.

(My understanding is a volley is before the ball hits the ground, a half-volley is just after it bounces off the ground.)

That is my understanding as well. I've never even seen a disagreement over it.

Manchester City schooling Liverpool here.

Too many Liverpool players appear spent. It’s really worrying.

You know what? Scratch that. That second half was embarrassing - total lack of effort from too many Liverpool players. If VVD and Trent are that knackered / had enough then have the balls to say so and go back to the reserves for the rest of the season. We can manage without both at the moment, they'd be less liability. It's taken most of the season but enough apologising and excuses for me - Klopp needs a plan B fast. We're going to get no points against City, Chelsea and Arsenal and that'll be it for European football next season.

Having said that, maybe no European football would be a blessing in disguise. No Bellingham for Liverpool though.

Fulham lost, which I dislike

But Chelsea is literally bottom half of the table with 10 games left, so LOL.

Right, Leeds got that Arsenal game out of the way, now time to turn to the real business. Forest, Palance, Liverpool, Fulham, Leicester and Bournemouth. April is gonna be a huge month.

An unbelievably predictable result in Germany.

Leicester have sacked Brendan Rodgers.

This isn’t surprising to be honest, but feels a bit desperate.

EDIT: There are also a lot of rumours this evening that Chelsea have sacked Graham Potter too

Edit Edit: Confirmed. Potter has gone

Cold world. Didn't even last a year.

So, Potter to Leicester and Rodgers to Chelsea?

(This was a joke, but I could actually see the first one happening.)

Oh yeah, the former sounds pretty much perfect.

Potter at Leicester you’d think is a good match

Not so sure about Rodger’s at Chelsea though. I assume it’ll be Naglesmann.

Edit. Out of the 20 Premier League teams, only 8 still have the same manager they started the season with.

I don't need Europe, I just need Fulham to finish above Chelsea. I will expire from laughter.

Sorry Leicester.

Leicester just had to wait seven months.

If Everton stays up, it feels like it'll only be because of everyone else's incompetence.

Barftastic result today. We were essentially handed the game through a thoroughly deserved Everton red card and later a penalty, but justice struck late in the game when Everton equalized.

I say justice not because the calls were incorrect - they were good - but because we scored zero goals from play, and you can't expect to win any game like that.

Hard to imagine we're going to regain top four right now.

Meanwhile, I cannot let today go by without marking a historic moment in PL history:

With the FA deciding to refer us to an independent commission for FFP breaches, and word from some quarters that points deductions could be applied to the current season, I'm assuming punishments will be piled on until our relegation is assured.

Only our board could breach FFP while making the squad massively and demonstrably worse.

If Dyche does somehow manage to keep us up, they need to build a statue of him at the new stadium.

Regardless whether we stay up, the board needs to be cleared out. Absolutely shocking the way they've mismanaged the club.

Chelsea: Hold my Beer!

Chelsea v. Liverpool should be an interesting "We really need this but we're both sh*t right now" game.

VVD’s not in the team, Trent, Robertson and Salah all benched. Frankly anything could happen

Harvey Elliott's run as Liverpool's only ever-present this season is over after being left out of the squad.

He had played all 41 games this season.

Today is his 20th birthday...

Sheeeeesh.

This is like 2 Sunday league teams duking it out after they’ve been to the pub.

Havertz isn't a bad player, but he's just not a striker. Why Chelsea have been persisting with this is beyond me.

Alisson has now made 85 saves in the Premier League this season, his most in a campaign since joining Liverpool.

With another 10 games to go, which tells you everything.

In other Premier League news, I genuinely fear for Leicester City’s continued survival here. I think they may be in a hell of a lot of trouble.

Well, that was a game of football.

Genuinely think there are 6 teams worthy of relegation this season.

I don't think either Bournemouth or Nottingham Forest are good enough to stay in the league to be honest - apologies to their fans.

the other spot I have no idea about. There are plenty of teams in the lower half of the table who just haven't been good enough. It could be any of them, up to the last day of the season. We shall have to wait and see
