I enjoyed the perspective on the eternal struggle of racing games between catering to the hardcore people who want simulation and the potentially larger but perhaps less committed player base who prefers a more arcade experience. My impression from the last time I played the F1 franchise is that they managed to strike a good balance of those two things.
