I have to say, the Extra tier is really delivering for me so far. Only problem is games I am interested in are being added faster than I can play them
Deathloop has been on sale for over 50% off at least 4 or 5 times already. Not really surprising
Yeah, but Microsoft owns the IP and Sony's exclusivity was for one year. I'm surprised to see it show up on Sony's subscription service at all.

Same. It has definitely made me more selective. about what I will give a whirl and not. I saw that Mafia II was available. So I downloaded it after liking The Definitive Edition (of the first one) and also really liking the third. I dropped the second after like 10 minutes, realizing how dated and not fun it was. I may have missed out, but there is just too much other stuff.
I have set Ghost of Tsushima downloading so that will probably eat a lot of my time but I am intrigued by Deathloop so I will put that in the queue for after Ghost.
Oh sweet! Ghosts of Tsushima! Downloading... Perfect game that I don't want to buy but want to check out because I'm a huge Kurosawa fan...
I'm playing it at the moment, it's very smooth on the PS5 especially. I like the samurai dressings but I wouldn't say it's especially Kurosawa.

You’ll likely love it.
I actually feel like many of the stories and the settings do have a Kurosawa feel.
For those of you new to GoT.... See you in a few weeks.
I've actually been playing for a few weeks already, still only on the second island! I just like dawdling around in the setting, doing samurai stuff for the locals.
I never had game pass, so this is my first time with this kind of sub service for games. Initially I felt some pressure to rush through the games (there are so many!) but now my attitude is that as long as I can always find something I enjoy to play, it's a win. I don't have to try everything.
I’ve started playing Spider-Man: Miles Morales. So good. Love Miles’s movement and combat animations.

It's a tighter game than the original Spider-Man. Pretty fantastic.

Yeah. Feels like they learnt a lot from the first Spider-Man game. It’s making me very excited for Spider-Man 2 and Wolverine.

Oh for sure, I just meant that it feels more like an open world action game mapped (expertly) into a samurai setting rather than a Kurosawa film made into a game.

Yeah! That's what I was hoping for... Starting it now...

I keep forgetting they are doing a Wolverine game. I am pumped. I was reading that we may see Spider-Man 2 footage sometime this month.
Phew! I was afraid I would end my streak of every 2 years installing Far Cry 5 on one of my systems because I love the concept of the series, and then quitting out of boredom and never going back at about the 4 hour mark. But it looks like I might get to squeak it by before New Year's!
And the three PSPlus Essentials games:
- Mass Effect Legendary Edition
- Biomutant
- Divine Knockout (DKO)
I remember Biomutant looking fun, may check that out.
The pedestrian is a fun little puzzle game that’s in the service right now. I gave it a try on a whim last night and I appear to be about half way through after 2 hours. I won’t say too much so as not to spoil it but It has a very relaxed vibe and is worth a spin if chill puzzlers are your thing.
Omno was a fun little exploration game with some light puzzling. Takes about 4 hours to 100% the game and get the platinum trophy, and much faster to finish if you don't care about that.
I've enjoyed both the Pedestrian and Omno. Wish they'd put more of these smaller games on the service!
Agatha Christie's ABC Murders is leaving the catalogue on 21 Feb. You probably already know if you're up for it, but I just played it this week and would recommend to Poirot fans! A good mix of hidden object, light puzzles and dialogue choices, and not as clunky as I was expecting.
Also leaving on the 21st are Metro Exodus, Saints Row 3, GTA Vice City among others.
Just a heads up, cos I haven't seen this elsewhere in the forums:
Sony is discontinuing the PS Plus collection of free PS4 games for PS5 owners on 9 May 2023.
So, if there's anything in there you've had your eye on, grab it while you can.
I downloaded Days Gone because, eh ... why not. Never played it, I'll give it a look.
Like you can't claim them anymore? But if you already claimed you keep right?
Edit yes. So if you haven't got a PS5 yet there's a target date to get one by for some great free stuff

Pretty cool to be getting Forbidden West
I wanted to play Horizon: FW but couldn’t bring myself to buy it, considering all the games I own and the possibility that the changes to the series might put me off, so this is ideal.
All in on Ace Combat 7!
