I expected this video from JT, so I'm excited to share it even though I haven't even watched it.
I'm a Browns fan, so I hate the Bengals and will see Joe Brrr beating my team for the next 10-15 years, and I would still rather they win than the fanless mercenaries of LA.
A few of my Browns FB friends have been getting really salty about how OBJ "engineered his exit" from Cleveland and is now being rewarded for it and I am eyerolling pretty heavily. I think, if anything, this pretty much vindicates him.
I am trying to think of an equivalent situation as a Ravens fan and all I could think of was Orlando Brown going to the Chiefs. And mostly, the fans I know were like "yeah, it was going to be tough to keep him. Glad we got something (Adafe Oweh) in trade".
Oh, hey, it looks like Tom Brady retired for realsies this time.
Now we get to talk about it (and him) for at least a week and not for just the 24 hours leading up to the conference championship games.
He was pretty good.
Glad he went out still as TOM @#$!! BRADY. Seems like every great QB hangs on for a season too long, and we all still talk about the corpse of Peyton Manning being dragged to another ring by Von Miller and friends. Brady goes out still being what everybody's going to remember.
The NFC South is going to SUCK next year.

OBJ was misused by the Browns, so I understand why he salted everything he touched to get out. I'd be pissed if I were him. His tactics were cheap though.
And, yeah, sucks the Ravens had to give up Orlando Brown but they did get a nice haul of picks. Still need more depth on the OL. And for injuries to, uh, not ruin everything.

Brady's goodbye post was as long as his career.
I think the Bucs will be good next year as they're deep at QB. Leftwich is still employed by them so he can be Blaine's backup.

As someone who watched too many Browns games in my life:
-OBJ was hurt for most of his time there, and he wasn't that good.
-Baker either did not trust him or was not good enough to use him. There were so many times he was wide open and Baker either wouldn't or couldn't throw him the ball.
-OBJ and OBS? were assholes in the end. I understand it, but they were.
-OBJ got lucky (I wouldn't have picked the Rams to go to the Superb Owl when he got there).
-He looks good because the BEST WR IN THE LEAGUE IS ON THE OTHER SIDE. OBJ isn't a 1, but he is overqualified as a 2, especially with Kupp getting all the attention.
-I have no hard feelings toward OBJ, I only hope that either Baker gets better or gets replaced (by someone who won't make me hate the Browns).
-I hope Garet Wilson, Chris Olave, or Jaxon Smith-Njigba end up on the Browns next year.

And to think all this time Trent Baalke is still employed, biding his time till he's shit canned.
I'm about to be done with this f*cking joke of a franchise.
Sad boi, indeed.
This one just sounded like someone making things up...
... right up until they interviewed former Vikings GM Rick Spielman, and:
I don't know what's best, the first tweet or the Jets implying they are not part of the football world.
Shad Khan really making a run at that "Cal McNair is the most incompetent owner in the league" crown right now.

Dan Snyder would like to have a word with you.

Snyder is the most awful human being who is an owner, which is in and of itself an accomplishment. He's not vaguely as incompetent as McNair or Khan, though. The Redskins have achieved pretty consistent mediocrity for the last couple decades, and that's way better than what Jacksonville or Houston are going to be dealing with for quite a while.
This Jags drama will make for the best Netflix soap opera show with, I don't know, Jeffrey Tambor playing Khan.

I love that this is a compliment to Dan Snyder. Because it's true and it's truly a compliment!

Lol, yes. And Danimal makes a fair point. In my view, though, the competence or incompetence of an owner depends as much on the non-football aspects of the franchise as it does on the competitive results. In that sense, they are different than a player, a coach, and even a GM.
If I wasn't dealing with the double dose of depression following the NFC Championship loss in which Stafford tried to gift the game right to Jaquiski Tartt, along with that sh*tty sh*t dumpster fire franchise in Florida being so stupid, I would probably be making fun of Kenny Pickett's small hands right about now.
I would put money on Qaaron or Watson.
I would put money on Qaaron or Watson.
I don't see Tampa outbidding Denver and Miami, respectively, for those two.
Miami has been waiting for the green light to trade for Watson, and they have an extra 2023 1st to deal from the Lance trade.
Denver hired Nathaniel Hackett and is looking at bringing over more Packers offensive coaches. They already wanted Qaaron and just look like they're laying further groundwork for a smooth transition. And Denver's got an extra 2nd this year to move.
Plus, both Denver and Miami are flush with cap space, whereas Tampa has no cap space and the Brady retirement doesn't really provide a lot of relief (Tampa will delay filing the paperwork until after June 1 in order to keep Brady's bonus acceleration from ass-blasting the 2022 cap, but that bonus will eat up a bunch of 2023 cap that would complicate signing a high dollar QB to a multi-year deal, and they'll only be freeing up $12m in 2022 with Brady off the roster).

Wait . . .
Zero chance Winston goes back to TB especially with the same coaching staff. They aren't Carolina or Jax.

They just want to be Number 1.
