Yeah those are the times I think about not doing hard mode and just choosing a different word.
There was one I did in the archive from a few months ago yesterday I think. I got something like S-ORE on the 2nd guess. Then I looked and store, swore, score, shore, spore were all possibilities... I was like holy shit, what do I guess? And it took me 3 chances to get the right one. It would have been smarter for me to guess something like watch and eliminate 3-4 of those possible consonants, and find the right one.

How do I get that letter grid of results which you guys are posting? I got a graphic showing grey, yellow, and green squares, which doesn't work when I try to paste it into GWJ.

Those squares are emojis, and they don't work in textboxes here, unfortunately. Personaly, I just retype all the lines, replacing blacks with '-', yellows with 'W', and greens with 'B'.

Today was hard for me. My second guess was bad because I used the same letter in the fourth spot. My third guess threw me for a loop and I ended up working my way through all the possible combinations of those two letters. Even Wordle has grinding occasionally!

That one took me a while, and those two D's almost got me.
What world do people live in where they think people "flocked to Wordle" because it didn't have ad trackers?
And acknowledging that your website also has ad trackers doesn't absolve you of being a massive hypocrite when you act like having them is the worst thing a website can do.
Yeah, the tone of the article isn’t great but I just wanted to pass along the info. Probably to be assumed, probably a lot of people have blockers but just figured I’d share.
