Thich Nhat Hanh was a world renowned Buddhist monk who did wonders to bridge the gaps between different cultures and religions.
He practiced what he preached and was exiled from Vietnam for a large portion of his life.
If you haven't read any of his books I highly recommend checking him out, especially if you were raised Christian as his book Living Buddha, Living Christ is a seminal work in comparative religion.
Must’ve been an important person to get two obit threads!
