NCAA Football 2022/2023 Season Catch All!

4 games today and no comments?

Fresno already won, what's there to talk about?

Marshall as well. As it turns out, it is t as fun when the best you can hope for is an invite to The Myrtle Beach Bowl.

And right now, you’re wondering what the actual name of the game is. Look it up.

There’s still college football?

I mean, even as a Sickos fan, I couldn't really get interested in Buffalo v. Georgia Southern yesterday.

UNC-Oregon should be fun tonight though, at least just to see which Bo Nix shows up.

I don't know the history of Bo Nix, however he has been consistently good this season excluding the opening game against Georgia. I'm willing to give him a pass on that once considering it's Georgia and his 1st game with a new team/coach, etc.

Holy sh*t Kansas tied it up. Insane game.

And Oregon UNC is staying even, trading TDs.

Holy kicked twice Tarheel interception, Batman!

I'd post some funny stuff from the bird app, but it's been an unmitigated disaster tonight, so I'll just say that the camera shot of Kansas' OT TD was blocked by a fan in a hogs onesie.

Doink.

But it goes in for Oregon.

Vol Orange. Best orange.

Vols went 3-1 this season vs the last 4 national champs. Didn't expect this season.

The SEC needed another bowl win after they were sitting 1-4 yesterday.

We don't care if the opponent isn't a conference champ.

Iowa scored an offensive TD!
And then a pick 6!

14-0 Kentucky losing hehe.

Sooo... 2 mins into the second half here at the Bama K-state game... These guys are here because?....

I mean Bama being here due to the heinous performance this year at 10-2... I understand.

A true connoisseur is watching Iowa-Kentucky.

EDIT:

ESPN just said that Kentucky has out-gained Iowa on offense but with 10 punts has now:

-Set the record for most punts in the 25 year history of the Music City Bowl
-Is the most punts by a team in a bowl since Oregon in the 2018 Redbox Bowl

Iowa winning a game by 3 touchdowns without converting a third down is Kirk Ferentz's crowning achievement. Everybody is getting extensions and raises

The final team stats. No-one got over 210 total yards. Just perfect.

Iowa won 21-0 despite just 206 yards of total offense.

That is Iowa's THIRD win this season with 206 yards or less.

The rest of FBS combined has six.

In playoff era, Iowa is 6-5 in such games. All other teams are 34-605.

Iowa's season began with a win in a game where they didn't score a touchdown and ended with a win in a game where they didn't convert a third down. Absolute perfection. One of the funniest seasons by any relatively successful team ever

I think I've enjoyed Iowa football this year more than I even enjoyed my own team.

Iowa has won 3 games this year gaining under 210 yards. The rest of FBS combined has only done it 6 times?

Something like that I saw ESPN stats on twitter.

Michigan TCU game was off the rails the entire time!

Well, that was very silly, so Georgia-OSU is almost guaranteed to be boring as sh*t.

EDIT: I am also contending that TCU going from 5-7 to National Championship game is one of the most astonishing things in CFB history already, and if they win it, becomes the wildest thing I've ever seen in CFB. Including that year when Auburn had 20 short tons of horseshoes shoved up their asses.

Also, LOL that the Big 12's (and Texas') first Playoff win is from TCU.

Well this post didn't age well.

These are some VERY Big 12 games tonight.

Never didn't have it!

So best pair of playoff games ever

This may have been the most incorrect I've ever been about anything in my life.

What a finish! I hope Georgia / TCU can live up to this!

Just saw that last kick...

...college kickers man. As good as kicking has gotten, those dudes just aren't that kind of reliable. If that's Justin Tucker (or, frankly, most NFL kickers), it's a walk-off.

Of course, that's why those 30-40 dudes are NFL kickers.

And they should have been running up the middle to get him closer. Weird 3rd down call
