NCAA Football 2022/2023 Season Catch All!

The case of Jon Kitna's son is not good, although my immediate conclusion is that the boy's a f*cking idiot.

Kitna told a detective he thought the pictures were legal because he found them online.

An absolute f*cking idiot.

He's a f*cking liar. Dude was in more than one discord for that sh*t. I don't want to even think about what the assholes in those groups are saying but I'd guess the messaging was more along the lines of, if you get caught with this sh*t you're on your own.

What team other than the Vols has a whole genre of music about stealing our rival team's womenfolk:

Bama women:

Georgia women:

Georgia woman from her side:

EDIT: To be fair, I forgot there's also one about losing a woman from 'Bama:

More importantly, with the Rose Bowl's capitulation, this is the final guaranteed Pac-XX/B1G traditional Rose Bowl.. so... the dream.. is ended.

I'm a filthy casual but this is really sad. My primary image of college football is of the Rose Bowl:

The parade, the blue skies, the early evening light when the 4th quarter gets started, the all-out color clash of, say, Michigan vs UW, the long tradition (including hearing from die hards how many years they've been going...), a rare moment for West Coast sports to dominate a day, and all kinds of famous names. Even the classic rose-in-thr-teeth look.

All of that gone, like tears in the rain.

Think USC is done after that pick

Somewhere, Nick Saban smiles.

Utah's quarterback looks like a deadringer for Vlad Dracul, aka Vlad Tepes, aka Vlad the Impaler. And I only realized that because his helmet got launched towards Henderson on that one hit.

Nice observation for post #666.

If TCU AND USC f*ck this up

I am looking forward to the national championship being the B1G-SEC Challenge!

TCU fourth quarter strategy:

and it works!

TCU QB doing all he can

Welp.

Now we're definitely getting the "no-one is happy" CFP.

So Bama is in after all??

TCU should stay in but drop to 4. Their 1 loss is better than either of Bama's 2. K St will finish inside the top 10 and they lost in OT.

They also have 5 ranked wins to Bama's 3.

Plus f*ck rewarding a team that can't win their division, much less conference, and moving them up by not playing today is bullsh*t.

The only quest is whether they want the conference rematches in the opening round or risk having one in the finals.

College Football Invitational GO!!!

K State won't be ranked higher than UT.

UT should still be higher than Bama. It has a worse loss, but trounced the other team that also beat Bama and has much better other wins.

Won't happen, but it should.

Without Hooker, UT is penalized. Plus we don't have the brand any more.

I'm just happy to be here in Heupel's second year, really.

Yeah, it's hard enough to beat Georgia, but once "insane, lucky bullsh*t" starts going in Georgia's favor, just call it.

Dr. Pepper, give both those women the money or we will be forced to unleash 88.

Tedford and Fresno are 2-0 against FBS teams since this hateful slander was posted.

Tedford and Fresno are now 7-0 against FBS teams since this hateful slander was posted.

Tedford and Fresno are now 8-0 and MOUNTAIN WEST CONFERENCE CHAMPIONS against FBS teams since this hateful slander was posted.

So which Pac-12 team wants to finish off their disappointing season with a loss to Fresno State in the Jimmy Kimmel LA Bowl?

And Dr Pepper does the right thing. Clearly they were afraid of Jalen Carter coming for them after the game!

Isn't it kind of sad that Saban had to go do spots on all the networks to beg to get into the CFP? Seemed he did hits on all the channels last night.

Not a good look IMO. Is his playoff bonus that big that he has to grovel?

I think it is a very large tell, that he is close to retirement.

Bring it, treenuts.

I like that they avoided another Mich vs Ohio St matchup

Bowl season is upon us!

I cannot wait for when, in like two weeks I'm watching two 6-6 teams playing in Topeka at 3:23 in the afternoon.

Or the FCS playoffs and it's snowing because they're always playing in Montana for some reason.

The committee seeded correctly for once

@ Stele: So Scott Satterfield is leaving y'all for Cincinnati?! Make that make sense for me. That seems like it's a step down (from the ACC to the Group of 5) but Satterfield hasn't been exactly great at Louisville?

Cincinnati is joining the Big 12 next year, so lateral move as far as being in the power 5.
