NCAA Football 2022/2023 Season Catch All!

My favorite comment about that:

If this dude blew in a breathalyzer it would just start playing “Neck”

Man is the living definition of "these edibles ain't sh*t."

One of their best yet.

lol Hope is back. Lots of Copium incoming I'm sure

Hope being with Texas A&M fits. They kind of are in the old Georgia spot. Lots of talent and some big wins, just having random unexpected losses.

Good on the edge of great, but just hasn't gotten there yet.

Which is better than where my Vols are in the upper mid-pack of the SEC without the required talent level to really be in contention without some fluky stuff happening.

Wasn't expecting the non-SEC teams in the vid, but still funny.

Dollar Tree SEC Shorts:

Cal has moved from +17 point underdogs to now +9. This is still Notre Dame right? I was also reminded that Marcus Freeman took over before last years Fiesta Bowl, so he has already lost 3 in a row... this would be... 4?

At this point what's the chance that ND just quits? I have to imagine players are pretty down, especially if they look at social media, I'm still convinced they'll take out their frustrations on Cal, but maybe they are just bad?

EDIT:

Looks like ND's starting QB is done for the year... since this is Cal, my guess is this will be a Wally Pip/Tom Brady like situation and their new QB starts their 2023 Heisman Campaign this Saturday.

See, the problem was, Freeman had not yet made his conversion to Catholicism. God was punishing the Irish.

Freeman's now a confirmed, communion-taking Catholic, and God shall now bless his chosen team as they battle those godless heathens from Northern Commiefornia.

So Marshall beat the Hell out of ND.

Not quite the old BBQ posts but when in Chicago…

Apologies to my NY friends to whom these are abominations

Pizza casserole haha

Best post I've seen you make Carlbear ;-).

Love me some Chicago classics.

If Cal ever plays at Oklahoma State, Tulsa, Arkansas or OU (puke), I'll have you and Dorkmanship over for a Brew and BBQ. Pulled pork, ribs, tenderloin, whatever you want. If it's brisket, I'll have to practice first, though. I still haven't done one.

Obligatory tenderloin pic from last week (always looks a little more pink than it is IRL):

Louisville FSU trending towards shootout

Jordan Travis out for FSU. Cards really should hold the lead now.

Oof.

That game really will hurt us in the long run. I loved the fight they showed but, damn the injuries are really stacking up. We really can’t afford to lose too many more starters

Indeed. After that interception in the 2nd we should have went up 14 and things could have been different. But they stayed within 7 and the backup looked like a different player after regrouping at halftime. Throw it to the 6'7" WR play was unstoppable.

But it genuinely feels like we beat ourselves again. Blew chances to score, unforced penalties, bad turnovers. Sure FSU held all night and didn't get called for it until under 3 minutes, when it actually helped them kill clock with the lead, but ACC refs gonna ACC ref. Should have overcome.

(I have no idea, but that Purdue game was real-life awful Calvinball and I enjoyed every second of it.)

Perfect. No notes.

Indiana with a huge comeback at home over... Western Kentucky. Wins by 3 in OT because WKU missed game winning 44 yarder wide right as time expired.

Cal leads ND in the second half!

#ReturnToTradition

Sigh, Georgia bench players finally gave up a TD with a minute to go in the USCe game.... would have been nice to have a 1 point allowed a game, average.

Anyway, this is pretty much my UGA watching experience at this point:

Not that I'm complaining.

Well it took all of 59:59 for God to realize they were helping the wrong side

App State ending. Hah!

RANK APP STATE

My fellow Vol fans are nuts. Sold out Neyland (100K+, don't know what the new seating is) for...Akron.

I was not dedicated enough to drive 5+ hours round trip to watch the powerful Zips, so I sold my seats.

Vandy was down 14 to Northern Illinois and then scored 24 straight to win by 10. Huh.

Of course their schedule is a bear. Beat Missouri and SC and they still won't have enough wins for a bowl. Every other game is a current ranked team. So they need a miracle heh.

In case you haven't seen the play.

App State, man. An unbelievable week on the mountain.

Edit: Another angle, this one from the end zone

At least we had South Bend.
