NFL 2021: The playoffs thread

Bad Jimmy, bad.

And then there's the Jimmy high throw INT.

God dammit Jimmy

GODDAMMIT JIMMY.

Whew. It hit the ground.

lucky ducks

I have know idea if punting is the right call but it seems exceedingly cowardly.

Yeah, that call, not to go for it, might very well come back to bite them.

Edit:

It already did considering they are in the same area of the field after 1 play.

86% to win by going for 4th and 1 there. 82% by punting

It's almost like Shanny Jr is bad at this sort of end game stuff.

Hah, I'm surprised it is even that close in modern football that favors the O so much. Would be interesting to see how many years back they are pulling those stats form.

Godammit again Jimmy, with the snap

Shanahan getting too cute there putting Trent in motion.

We won because Dallas is dumber than us

Well, on the downside we in the Bay Area got to put up with that old clip of soul-patch Qaaron on draft day getting re-run a hundred times during the week.

lol

Speaking of getting too cute...

NINERS SURVIVE BAD JIMMY

THANKS FOR THE HELP MCCARTHY AND MOORE

Holy crap that seemed way too close. I wasn't watching but had the play by play going on with ESPN. Sounds like they just let them waltz down the field in 38 seconds.

I'll take it though. Dallas losing is a good day.

Deebo looks a little perplexed by being interviewed by a child.

That's definitely one of the more exciting games I've watched in a while. It also was probably the worst-coached game of the season. (I watched Matt Rhule all season; I've got expertise on this topic.)

I expect dumb coaching from McCarthy. I guess I should remember to expect it from Shanahan, who's not nearly as smart as he thinks he is. That tackle-in-motion play was too cute by about 98 percent.

ELLL OOOOO ELLL OOOOO ELLLLL

I didn't want to play the 49ers but I'm not sure which players on defense are going to be healthy.

Power of the bye. Let the other teams murder each other.

Wow that was a crazy last few minutes.

Yeah. 4th and inches, Jimmy picks up that sneak 10 times out of 10. There was no need to get cute there.

Heartbreaking loss for Dallas.

Good god, even KC's ceremonial first thingamijig's racist.

An endlessly entertaining conclusion. Here's to stupid football.

Go Steelers I guess?

I kind of gave up sports after Qaaron this fall. Haven't really watched anything for 3 months. Came back to this thread after seeing Cowboys lose.

Happy for all the Niner fans here!
