NFL 2021: The Week 10 thread

Wait what?

He's going to go play in a dome in LA over outside in Wisconsin in January?

I feel like the Rams were always the obvious choice that wasn't part of the short list.

Also f*ck the Rams.

But how long before he starts whining about not getting targets from Stafford?

Stafford is the greatest QB to never win a superbowl playoff game, so now this is a lock right?

Not trolling question.. though I'm sure it will be construed as such... If Goff and Stafford didn't swap but everything else on the Rams/Lions roster was the same as it is now (including the coaching change in DET), does anyone think that their W-L records would be signficantly different? I'm not smart enough to understand cap and draft implications, but outside of the the Rams against TB, is there any game that someone can reasonably say the result would be different if the trade didn't happen?

1-2 weeks after whiney Rodgers probably throws the Packers front office under a bus for not landing OBJ.

Pfft. Getting a veteran QB and loading up on free agents chasing a ring has never worked out. Amirite?

A like wasn't enough the first time, and it wasn't enough the second time either. I saw someone, maybe Magary, call him NFL's laundromat. Schefter is such a hack.

Always has been, but he had a monopoly on info.

I'd call it a monopoly on access and he's been caught recently being all too willing to put out whatever information the access gives him.

Lamar Madden pre game segment was great

Yeah, that's a circle.

Ravens got away with a big, would have been touchdown, PI non-call at the end of that half. Also, it appears we are back to boring TNF...

At least the Dolphins only got 3. 7 would have been a travesty after that "helmet to helmet" free clock stoppage.

I am not a fan of the Dolphins but that felt like a make up call for a couple non calls where the refs missed PI. Then the refs did it again right after

My Lamar-is-MVP take is barely 24 hours old and it did not age well. 6-3 at half? C'mon, Paleo. Tell your team to score some damn points!

Really, Sammy Watkins is back, so the cupboard is full of guys to catch balls.

He's had 0 TDs in the first quarter all season. He'll pick it up in the 2nd half, like always.

What is going on in this football game?

Not one goddamn angle where the ball touched the ground yet they reviewed and overturned. Bullsh*t

Looked like the tip touched the ground on the very first replay they showed and then never showed again.

I thought I saw that too. No idea why they didn't replay it.

Then catch fumble instead of incomplete. Watkins definitely didn't take two steps or "football move" whatever. This game is nonsense

Then an unofficial review huddle where they overturned catch and fumble to incomplete to make it 3rd and 10 instead of 9. Not that that yard mattered but I've never seen bullsh*t like that when the offense was about to snap the ball and the chains were already set

And of course Marquis "not Hollywood" Brown has the drops again all damn night

Stele, I dislike both these teams but it's football (Where half of the penalties don't get called). Ravens have got their fair share of calls this game. Whoever wins at least they are making it more entertaining second half!

Edited: to clarify

Wait, what happened to the promised Draw Play comic when the Jags beat the Bills?

Look in last week's thread.

Never confuse Thursday Night Football with real football.

Good lord, 16 punts?

I get packing light for a short trip, but the Ravens really should have brought an o line.
