I need to find another Mech game to play this week so we can have three mech pictures in a row on the front page

So, I just bought Critters For Sale after hearing the talk on the podcast and then seeing the visual style in the brief bit of the video on the store page. Rich's "It's wild" comment doesn't quite describe this game thoroughly enough :lol:. I have only done one ending of one chapter so far (Snake) and was completely blown away by how....weird?....it was.

Definitely looking forward to seeing just how everything is going to play out. The visual style alone is amazing.

Powerfist -> butt.

I am so glad someone else is on the Critters train!

I giggled at work hard enough to get stared at about power fisting.

I'm 35 going on 11.

It was way too early for me to hear about powerfisting today. Next week, I'm waiting until after lunch to listen

After hearing about it on the podcast, I'd mentally pictured Critters for Sale as having cutesy LucasArts point-and-click-style graphics. I could not have been more wrong...

Got VR? I've been meaning to try the Iron Rebellion demo.

For Glendon,

POWERFISTING IN VR!!!!
(click the link for a biggified version where you can actually read the text)

Also worth noting that there's a setting for 'Smaller Balls' on the left, which I assume is what happens upon being powerfisted. I dunno, I'm not a doctor.

The game in question is PowerBeatsVR, which is my tippedy top VR cardio game. Worth checking out if you want to work up a sweat. And good timing for a shilling, it's just launched on Quest (in the App Lab, I think).

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned elsewhere on the site, but Amanda and Rich were guests on the last two episodes of the DLC podcast hosted by Jeff Cannata and Christian Spicer. If you enjoy listening to them here, you should give those episodes a listen too. Both of them were great guests.

You are too kind! We tweeted about it, but didn't share here - I'm a little gun-shy about self promotion. My apologies! Thank you so much for your lovely words
