NBA 2021-22 Season Catch-All

I can't find a thread for 2K23. Do we talk about that in here?

I'm very interested in the mode where you can take over a franchise in 1984 or 1992.

@Stele please feel free to make a new season thread

@top_shelf we had been just talking about 2k in this thread as it didn't seem like there were too many 2k players here in GWJ

I play but I’ve been holding off so far this year. It’s always $20-30 off around Thanksgiving, and then the balance stuff is better worked out.

For my part I tapped out a couple of years ago, because of that balance stuff, especially in online play, which is primarily what I had time for. And then XBox came along and added it to Gamepass and now I no longer buy it.

I have bought a couple of versions of the Switch version of the game, but those flat-out don’t play without the console online, so I’ve given up on those.

Shouts to Becky Hammon and the Las Vegas Aces. WNBA champs.

Someone got to him, and that hero deserves our thanks

Draymond has entered the chat.

Reading his "apology," it sounds more like he's going to cash out and finance a war against "cancel culture."

Ding-ding-ding-ding.

All the other cancel culture warriors will certainly be happy to have them on their side. Truly the refuge of scoundrels.

Soon, on Tucker Carlson:

"Cancel culture has punished my mere 18 years of racism and sexism by forcing me to earn a gigantic profit."

"As a man of faith" = "As a father of daughters" + "As someone with Black friends"

This is the most serious completely vague tweet that I've ever seen.

I have no idea if Udoka missed a flight or killed a coworker.

EDIT: HERE COMES SHAMS

The Celtics have a code of conduct?

The continued vagueness of all this seems to indicate that there is something more to this "improper intimate and consensual relationship with a female member of the team staff."

Maybe not.

If it was a subordinate that's already enough. Even if it wasn't a direct report him being the coach pretty much means he has a higher position of power than pretty much most people.

But ya that's painting it in a more positive light.

I would argue that being a direct report is something more that was not mentioned.

Ya, I guess considering his already large title it's going to be messy regardless. Not like there's many people above Udoka and I'm not sure that basketball orgs are even that large that everyone is essentially 1 person removed from him.

Or maybe his relationship was with Brad Stevens and he's taking the hit for Brad.

Rumor now if the whole season suspension. Uho.

So potentially a season-long suspension for the coach who won the east last year for an...

There is something else here.
