They should take a lesson from Twitch streamers and have a green screen background. And a filter that turns them into talking potatoes. And sound like they've inhaled helium.

That's the second time you've mentioned Twitch this thread. And given what you're describing here, now I'm wondering exactly what channels you're watching.

Please turn Peyton Manning into a V-tuber.

Damn. Sober Maxx Crosby might actually be a star edge rusher.

Lamar 28 yards to get in FG range, so easy. Tucker for the lead!

Damn overtime

Carr with two great pocket-climbs and throws to set up that kick.

Wow, what a play!

Derek Carr, Fresno State.

What a back foot throw.

Well they're going backwards. This is getting interesting now

This is as crazy as it gets

Willie Snead, Ravens sleeper agent.

Sack, fumble.

Damn the Raiders are gonna win this game twice.

For the ESPN 2 stream Russel seems way more comfortable in front of the camera than Eli.

Lol Jon Gruden in action. Whata mess.

Oh my Lord, Gruden mismanagement gets the delay of game and the offense comes back on?

And they get the Ravens thinking run and burn them with Zay Jones for the score? I don't think Zay Jones has ever been that far downfield.

Wow

The whole last part of this game was a crazy mess. Entertaining though.

Villanueva sucks ass.

435 yards for Carr, seemingly all in the 4th and OT.

PFF has been screaming for the Raiders to use a more aggressive pass attack with Carr. They should try going downfield before crunch time.

Steelers would have kept him if he was still great. He was never particularly amazing in the run game.

Wasn’t he the jerk that despite the entire team agreeing to stay in the locker room still went out by himself for the anthem?

Yes, it's from last year, but he still looks like he's trying to resurrect Imhotep from the Luxor a couple blocks over.

Things I definitely knew would happen this week:

  • Dolphins lead the AFC East due to Tua throwing for 202 yards.
  • The Broncos would have the AFC West's biggest win margin
  • Steelers and Bengals lead the AFC North
  • Houston has sole possession of the AFC South lead
  • Ryan Fitzpatrick's starting job lasted one quarter.
  • The NFC West's leading rusher would be Eli Mitchell of the 49ers
  • The most fearsome offense in the winless NFC North belongs to the Lions
  • Jameis Winston would throw for 20 attempts and 0 interceptions
  • Trevor Lawrence and Justin Fields were the only rookie QBs to throw as many INTs as TDs, and Justin Fields didn't throw any INTs.

Uh, Trey Lance threw a TD.

So I'm guessing the consensus power rankings tomorrow will be:

1. Tampa Bay
2. Kansas City
3-6. The NFC West

Buffalo, Green Bay, Baltimore, and Cleveland all sliding down after starting 0-1.

It's not surprising that a former army ranger is very enthusiastic about the flag and the military, but that wasn't the problem.

The team discussed that as a group that they would stay in the locker room to avoid sending any team messages, and coach T expected a heads up if someone changed their mind. It appeared that Tomlin didn't get word of it, as he was talking to the press about the decision after the fact, but things were left vague enough that Tomlin can just let us assume it was miscommunication. The drama isn't that he went out by himself, but that he made the coach look bad. There was never any team edict, just some common sense during the peak of BLM that the nfl team with the most decorated black head coach might have extra eyes on them waiting for a sound bite (no offense to anthony lynn or brian flores)

Big Al, as far as I know, is mostly well liked. I think he did the flag-by-himself thing in 2019 and it wasn't a problem. I think his side of the story is that standing for the anthem just sort of happens when he hears it, and he wasn't aware he was visible where he was standing. It's not like he ran out, waved, then stood midfield for the anthem.

TL;DR: big al probably shouldn't make your list of most hated current or former steelers.

Oops, justin fields.

I dunno if beating the Lions by 8 points after losing a starting RB and CB is good for the power rankings, even if you have a bajillion RBs.

I mean, if beating Dallas at home by 2 thanks to 3 missed Dallas kicks and uncalled offensive pass interference is still good enough for Tampa to hang onto #1...
