Great discussion on games preservation!
Personally, I don’t feel passionate about actively participating in games preservation. I have a natural inclination towards minimalism, so the idea of collecting stuff, both physically and digitally, fills me with dread. I do feel that games preservation is very important, but I’m the wrong person for the job. I’m relieved to know that there are folks out in the world who are dedicated to doing the work of games preservation.
If I had a robotic hand like Luke and Vader I could keep playing bass until I passed out.

YEP. Note the post time, which was after a 10 hour workday on 3.5 hours of sleep the night before, and a lot of link searching to get this to post. Some copypasta may have been involved and that detail was missed. It's been updated.

There is a tattoo on your arm in your avatar. Would you feel comfortable sharing a photo or at the very least describing what it is?

Aaron's sneeze sounds like the death scream of an NPC from the original Deus Ex.
I wish you guys would stop encouraging him.

Also now I know my sneezes aren't edited out of the episode.

I have fallen deeeep down the Twilight Imperium rabbit hole over the last couple of years so it’s cool to see it get a mention here It’s a gruelling endurance race that asks a lot of its players but the mix of strategic, tactical and social play against the space opera background is just fantastic! If GWJers are ever keen to play over TTS and we can line up times I’m always here to square off or introduce new players to the fold
A listener emailed this great video by Noclip about The MADE (the museum whose name I couldn't recall while recording in California) regarding the need for closure due to Covid. Please go watch!
