I honestly have no idea what you're talking about with the numbers. I even did a google image search and they appear to be the same size as the other teams in the same pictures. I think you might just be a crazy person.

It takes up 33's entire back! The numbers are practically wrapping around to their sides.

The Lance thing doesn't bother me at all since no other D1 coach recruited him as a QB.

Yeah but he's the local kid, you're supposed to know those guys better than everyone else. I've never forgiven Fresno State for overlooking Josh Allen the same way.

So does 36 and Penn State hasn't changed their uniforms since the 1800's.

I mean, that's not true at all.

Every sports uniform has changed a ton over the years, even the ones that "haven't changed". The details are in constant flux. Every time the manufacturer changes, the uniform is changed.

Anyway, these are some big ass numbers, I don't care what anyone says.

Every time I edit the top post, the site makes me do a captcha. I guess sticking a hundred GIFs in one post trips the spam bot warnings.

Man, imagine if all my activity on this account really was just building up reputation in order to make it an effective spam bot account.

Wait, you're not a SpamBot Legion? I just assumed you killed the real one and replaced him when you changed your name.

Don't worry, I won't even read the defensive stuff.

Really, this is all so we can point out how wrong you were in a couple of seasons.

Jayson Oweh sounds like someone the Raiders would take 4th overall. Shame they don't have that high of a pick and he'll go 17th overall.

I will commend Legion for this insane amount of work for our amusement. I was amused. Greatly.

Also, as someone who lives relatively near the University of Minnesota and has a kid enrolled there for the fall, well, the University of Minnesota has some ugly-ass football uniforms. Maroon and gold is hard enough to make look good before you make the helmets look like everybody's wearing Christmas ornaments on their heads.

Also also, random trivia; the mascot looks like that because the person they hired to make the logo years ago actually had no idea what a gopher looked like, so they just drew a fat squirrel.

Same. And +1 for the VPI reference.

Speaking of: When will the first defender go off the board tonight? Last year it was No 2 (Chase Young to WFT). Same with 2019 (Joey Bosa to SF). In 2018 it was No 4 (the Browns took Denzel Ward).

Tonight it will be ... No 10? 11? 12?

I'm assuming it's because (a) there's no dominant defensive player this year, and (b) there are 12 or so (more or less) pro-possible QBs in this year's draft who will all be picked by 10 p.m. tonight.

Oh good, I need something to read during my after vaccination wait period.

Wait am I misreading this? You think 10 QBs will go in the first round? If you do there's some draft props you should be entertaining.

Here I am minding my own business reading this story about a documentary about the short-lived "Dana Carvey Show" when I came across the following sentence:

After the seventh episode, just before the season finale was to air, ABC pulled the plug and replaced “The Dana Carvey Show” with an episode of “Coach” where Troy Aikman served as a sperm donor.

Couldn't he just do what Tom Brady does and get himself cloned?

The 12 QBs thing was a joke. (I probably should have said 18; it sure feels like it.) But every mock draft I've seen has offensive players (QBs, TE, WRs, LTs) taken through the first nine or so picks.

I went back to 2010, and the draft with the latest defensive player taken was 2012, when Dallas took CB Morris Claiborne at No. 6.

(The 2012 draft, btw, was a sh!tshow. Andrew Luck and RG3 went 1-2. Then it was Trent Richardson, Matt Kalil, justin Blackmon, Claiborne, Mark Barron, Ryan Tannehill, LUUUUUUUUUUKE and Stephon Gilmore. Lots of misses that year through the first eight.)

As for QBs taken in the first round tonight, it'll be five, right? Anyone see Kellen Mond or Kyle Trask going in the first round?

Yup. Turns out Mac Jones really is Drew Brees 2.0 for the two-time defending champion San Francisco 49ers! KYLE WAS RIGHT

Well, that's just wrong. The only time they are out-right bad is when there's no maroon. The all-white, all-gold and white-gold combos are all ass. Somehow white jersey/gold pants is almost ok but gold jersey/white pants is the worst of the bunch. I kind of like the grey uniforms but since they made them a tacit glorification of the mining industry by naming them anthracite, I feel like I'm morally obligated to hate them (oh no, politics in sports).

I will concede that the numbers are thick and the font is stupid but they aren't any larger than other schools.

The Goldie helmets are f*cking dumb.

Niners reportedly made a run for Aaron Rodgers, up until as late as last night and throwing both the 3rd overall pick and Jimmy G at Green Bay, but they didn't bite.

Suuuuuuure they did. I mean, the Packers would have to cut about ten players to get under the cap between Rodgers' dead money hit and Jimmy G's salary, right? That whole story sounded like somebody desperately trying to fling out some clickbait to get noticed.

I believe the cap problem could be solved, but it would require a Garoppolo contract extension.

That said, I'm not buying it either. The whole point of the Packers moving on from Rodgers would be to put Jordan Love on the field. If the Niners were to make a move for Rodgers (and that part I can believe), the realistic move would be for a separate trade that sends Garoppolo to some other team, and then executing those trades concurrently.

And then who are the Packers taking at #3? Or are they going to then trade out of that spot so some other QB-hungry team can get there?

Even if Green Bay decided they hate Jordan Love and want to use #3 to grab another QB, what the hell would they want the Garoppolo part of the trade for, then?

I had my second shot yesterday and am hurting..almost 102 fever but will watch the draft!!!! Good luck!

So, I'm torn; while I feel Legion's draft preview was lovely and he should be rewarded in some way, the news that Trey Lance is now in the proverbial lead to be the #3 pick makes me feel a bit conflicted; sure, Legion deserves a little karmic payback for all that draft preview work, but we've all gotten years of enjoyment out of "OH NO NOT AGAIN", and it's kind of tantalizing to have a new round of that ready to go.

If I apologize for all those times I did Josh dirty, can I have my quarterback?

Trey Lance would kill in San Fran. Lamar but with better passing physicality? Yikes.

Nope, but Danny Dimes was taken two rounds early so crazier things have happened.

The irony of Mac Jones potentially joining the OH NO NOT AGAIN group is that he's the polar opposite of Gabbert and Bortles.

Both of those guys were tall, big bodied, big arm, big-guy-mobile types, whose transition to an NFL offense was the question mark. They were 100% traits guys.

Mac Jones is 0% traits. Shorter, poor physique, average arm, no mobility. His prospect appeal is entirely how his game translates to an NFL offense.

I absolutely could see Mond sneaking into the end of round 1. I wouldn't make that pick myself, but there is a feeling out there that some evaluators really like him.

According to Shefter, Rodgers wants out.

Reigning MVP Aaron Rodgers is so disgruntled with the Green Bay Packers that he has told some within the organization that he does not want to return to the team, league and team sources told ESPN on Thursday.

ESPN Article.

The Packers are aware of his feelings, concerned about them and have had team president Mark Murphy, general manager Brian Gutekunst and head coach Matt LaFleur each fly out on separate trips to meet with Rodgers at various points this offseason, sources told ESPN.

Sure, Freeman's probably still available. Frees up that #3 pick for a WR who weighs about as much as your average 13-year-old girl.
