NFL 2021: Draft

This can't end well.

I think weight is overrated and is this decade's "You must be 6' to play WR" now that D gets flagged for tackling above the waist and flagged for tackling below the waist. Both at once though? Really depends on whether your QB is going to throw you into traffic.

I wonder if Creed Humphrey's full name is Creedence Clearwater Revival Humphrey.

Can really see Cleveland being a force to be reckoned with next year, barring another string of injuries to the secondary.

Or, you know, Baker not being very good again.

Kyle Trask the heir apparent to Tom Brady Blaine Gabbert in Tampa.

Well, it's an interesting pick. I think they hadn't re-signed Gabbert yet, so I'm bet his hot sexy self are about to hit the market.

Edit: And Kellen Mond to the Vikings. The real QB rum starts now.

Double Edit: I AM A PROPHET HEAR MY WORDS.

After the Jags took Little, I was explaining the Baalke All-ACL Team to the Jags Reddit, and I said "if they draft someone like Andre Cisco, don't be surprised".

NEXT JAGS PICK, ANDRE CISCO

I wanted the Vikings to wait until round 4 to draft a QB to replace Cousins instead of getting Mond now.

Ever since they pointed out the house band's singer looks like PFT Commenter, I can't unsee it.

Really happy that the Giants were able to salvage something from the Philly/Dallas trade. At the time it happened, I almost threw up...Philly screws the Giants over twice in 6 months. Love the 1st rounder next year and Toney is a player.

Looking forward to draft day 2!

Man, only a Giants fan would hold a grudge about their 6-10 team getting "screwed" out of a playoff spot.

So did Houston really like Davis Mills, or did they just have the two higher QBs taken right from under their nose?

Either way, replacing Watson with Mills.

LOL, I forgot I had this in my Andre Cisco writeup:

Have to imagine Trent Baalke has his name circled as the first pick of the new chapter for the Baalke All-ACL Team.

Well he was more like the second one, but nailed that sh*t.

Packers took a WR!

And it's a short one!

I don't care what he's graded. I watched his YouTube clip and it was pure electric fun.

Browns take JOK.

Competent Browns strike again.

Browns, Bills, Ravens have all solidified their status’ as the smartest analytics driven organizations through 2.5 rounds of this draft. Lots of just perfect BPA, don't trade up, consider positional value picks throughout for all of them. Still find it weird that no NFC teams really seem to have strong analytics departments or make personnel or game time decisions using data. Maybe that’s what having the Patriots in conference does for you: force you to leverage all your edges and incremental value

Oh I doubt that but hey, it's the Eagles so no surprise there.

Lots of trades on day 2! Loving the Giants moves so far and hoping for an OL or two tomorrow on day 3.

It appears I stopped watching the pick before the only other Gopher that's going to get drafted was picked. Honestly, didn't expect him to go until the fourth.

The Browns have certainly turned it around lately, but it wasn't many years ago that they "won" every draft according to the analytics and then actual football happened.

Winning the draft is basically as meaningful as all those years when gamers would wonder who won E3.

I think Ben Cleveland will be a force to be reckoned with next year.

Yeah, he's got the potential to be a good, nasty fit.

Not sure why Brandon Stephens went so early, but they're clearly adding athleticism on defense and hoping they can be taught how to play.

Oh, Jacoby, never change.

The Brandon Stephens pick has me scratching my head. CB wasn't even on my mind as a need and Stephens wasn't anywhere near my 104 spot on my board.

Haha that’s awesome Jacoby!

Dez Fitzpatrick, FROM LOUISVILLE!

Titans got a good one.

The best I can figure is he's a ST guy with athletic upside. Not someone is ever take that early, but perhaps their analytics tells them something.

It's a crime that Mac Jones didn't get drafted by Tampa.

I trust he'll follow Brady's path and eventually get there. QB fatness demands it.

Sorry, the Bucs already picked an underwhelming QB. I hit the Bucs subreddit to see what people were thinking of the Kyle Trask pick, and discovered Bucs fandom is currently locked in a blood feud between Gators fans who love Kyle Trask and are sure he'll be so much better than Jameis Winston, and Seminoles fans who resent all the hate dumped on Winston and hate the pick.

Imma gonna avoid that place for a few days.

Broncos trade up in round 5 to take Jamar Johnson.

Can't believe he slid that far.

I don't understand this post.

Kyler Murray throwing to Rondale Moore will be interesting. 5-9 throwing to 5-7. Will they even be able to see each other on the field?

Niners drafted Ohio State's RB Trey Sermon in the 3rd yesterday, so Trey will be handing off to Trey.
