Y'all's class is unreal. Hopefully, my team signs Arch next cycle and can make a run at reclaiming the hats on a table throne.

WKU doubled up App St this morning. Their QB broke burrows season TD record. That didn't last long.

Imagine the NIL on that kid.

Yes!

Can mine?

No!

Congratulations Legion, your team is best at PUBG Mobile, or something like that.

We used Android emulators on PC and played with mouse and keyboard. The UTEP guys were too dumb to figure that out.

I feel like this is another example of Conan O'Brien getting robbed.

Congrats to Wake Forest, winner* of next Saturday's Gator Bowl**. TAMU had such a bad case of the cooties that they're not going to play.

* Technically the Gator Bowl folks are going to try to find an opponent. Good luck with that, chumps!

** Is scheduled for Jacksonville, whose pro team has been such a dumpster fire on and off the field all season, so what's happening as I type is completely on brand for Jax.

Haha Wake's best season in like 70 years, and they won't be able to set a record for wins. Pefect.

I'm sad. Apparently we had dozens of positive tests, which could naturally lead to even more. A bowl game is a good emotional capper for the season.

Sorry to hear. You guys had a crazy season.

Looks like my team is vying to be the replacement A&M. Can we possibly lose two bowl games in one year?

Illinois (5-7), which officially was eliminated from bowl contention once all eligible teams were selected on Dec. 5, is open to the possibility of playing in a bowl game, sources told ESPN. Marshall, which lost to Louisiana last week in the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl, also is interested in being a replacement opponent, sources told ESPN.

Looks like Rutgers is going to take the spot. Originally it was reported they would decline, next in line would have been... CAL! I'm pretty sure we would have also declined, which if I read correctly, means the other Texas SEC school would have been next in line

Ah yes, the solution to replacing a team that's been felled by COVID is to select a team that's still on campus until finals are over on Thursday and hope the lot of them don't test positive.

Yep, my earlier comment checks out. Rutgers is bad, and they haven't practiced since Thanksgiving.

I wonder if Wake can hit 100 points. 70 is a legit possibility.

John Currie is currently Wake's AD. Currie was UT's AD when he tried to hire Greg Schiano as UT's head coach from Ohio State in 2017. UT fans had a bit of an uprising over hiring a coach that was at least mentioned during the Penn State child sex abuse scandal. UT withdrew the offer from Schiano much to the chagrin of the national sports media. The event is known around Knoxville as Schiano Sunday.

Greg Schiano is now the head coach at Rutgers.

Fixed. He coached there before from like 2000-10

Hawaii bails on the Hawaii bowl, which is Friday. Ooof.

Brutal for Memphis, who is already on the Island, and that's a long-ass flight. I hope they at least get some vacation out of it.

So wouldn't Rutgers rather go to Hawaii?

Would you want to stay if it's Hawaii that has to duck out because of COVID?

"Hawai'i Rainbow Warriors out of Hawai'i Bowl" is a A+ headline.

Anyway, they canceled it, the cowards. Shoulda just let random UH students and fans play against Memphis. Like Pros vs. Joes.

After Memphis'recent basketball schinanigans, I have no sympathy as a UT fan.

I'm enjoying the clapback that's occurring to people who dissed us for canceling - at least we did so in a timely manner.

THEY'RE TAKING THE TROPHY ANYWAY

And Virginia drops out of Fenway bowl.

And Boston College out of military bowl too

Since there is clearly a nonzero chance of omi impacting the cfp, the playoffs will be following the these completely arbitrary rules.

If one team can't play, the other advances. If both teams in a semifinal game can't play, the other game will be for the title.

No idea what they will do if all four teams can't play.

Georgia has had some cases including JT Daniels, which I'm guessing makes Bennett the starter no matter what. I believe Bama has coaches in the protocol but no players.

And Miami out of the Sun Bowl. ACC took a hit today

Next week:

"The New Year's Six bowl games have been replaced with a rebroadcast of the PUBG Mobile New Mexico Bowl."

What are the chances that someone is going to call our teams to play?

Marshall vs. Fresno in the Quest for TV Money Peach Bowl. Presented by Fortnight.

All Covid Conference

Seems like every bowl game with an ACC team in it has contracted the cooties.
