Today's WTF item from me is Wifi Router EMF Shields. That is right there are multiple Faraday Gages designed to hold your wifi router available on Amazon!!!!!! Some of the funniest ones are the bags designed to go over the antenna when you know you could just unscrew them or I don't know maybe buy just a wired router if you don't want wifi.

They want $90 for this janky looking thing:

Hypothetical scenario in which this cage could be useful:

Your cable company provides you with a DOCSIS cable modem with built-in wifi, and they don't give you access to administer it via software. You have your own personally-owned router to perform wifi and firewall duties, since you don't trust the piece of crap that the cable company gave you.

It’s 100% designed for the “EMF is toxic” people. I saw someone posting reviews about a similar device the other day and it was all people complaining that their wifi became super weak and unreliable after installing the cage.

So you're saying that the Venn Diagram of "Wifi Router EMF shield buyers" and "Antivaxxers" is just a circle?

Honestly, if someone get EMF poisoning, it's their own fault for letting their chakras drift out of alignment. Probably set their crystals up out of phase with the moon.

Yea I guess that is one. My fiber internet came with a wifi router that is disconnected and sitting in the top of a spare closet. Thankfully there doesn't seem to be any additional monthly cost with it and if there was I would make a fit.

I mean, what do we do? It fits the thread topic, but...
