Genshin Impact Gacha-of-the-Wild All

Thanks for the heads up!

Edit: D'oh! I kind of spent more than I intended to at the special shop, and forgot that I needed a new recipe from the regular shop this morning to get some serious progress happening this morning. Whoops!

This was me, but I didn't forget so much as deliberately delayed progress. Y'all can have my trees, but I'm buying those 100 realm currency cats first tyvm.

I bought the cat, but left a dog for whoever wants it.

My shop has three sets of those very useful terrain construction blocks. I bought a couple of those in addition to the cat, but those had a total stock of 6 (I'm assuming your tress are similar?) so there should be plenty if folks are looking to add some terrain variety to their realm.

Oh, has anyone found a list of materials needed for recipes?

I know that for the most part it doesn't matter -- just got hit some trees for five minutes and you've got what you need -- but I noticed that some recipes use iron and white iron, so I was curious if anyone has seen ones that call for the more rare ores (crystal and whatever the Dragonspine one is called) before I start forging my latest mining run haul.

Man I really need to get the Liyue quests done so I can check out the Teapot stuff. I think I'm almost done with Act1. I need to get Act3 finished before the new stuff unlocks for me.

Edit: The new event where you can get a free* Diona is up. I like how they set up the fight domain for this one. You can choose the difficulty and modifiers yourself and based on a point system it determines your rewards. That said, it does get very challenging (at least for me) when I attempt anything worth 2000 or more points.

*it costs 1000 of the event currency which is fairly easy to achieve.

How is everyone crafting so many things to get more of the teapot currency for buying recipes? I just cracked 2000 to get it to 8coins per hour...

Also, I don't have a cat in my shop! Anyone have an extra?

I'm using the go-fast crafting juice to craft everything at least one time for the trust exp. I also bought all the extra blueprints from the Monstadt vendor outside the Knights of Favonius office and the Qingce Village vendor. Costs a few hundred thousand Mora, but it helps boost you up to Trust level 4, which gives another crafting slot.

As far as furnishings, I'm using my slots to craft the purple recipes, which have the best time to adeptal energy ratio. I also had a few extra furnishings to drop down from the Hilichurl event. Have you placed everything possible? Both the trust level rewards and the Adeptal Mirror book give lots of blueprints and items. In addition to doing the blueprints once, be sure to place every single random item you're given.

Edit:
Also thank you to everyone dropping in to speed up my crafting. Cutting 4h off a 16h timer is pretty huge. 12h also makes it perfect to do twice a day.

I haven't had time to check in for a couple days, and suddenly I have no idea what the hell you're all talking about

Guess I need to carve out some time to unlock this teapot stuff.

Same here Dyni, I signed in briefly the past two days to do commissions but that was all I have had time for!

Finally got through the Liyue main quests (now I've got a 3rd boss fight to do weekly, yay!) and unlocked my teapot. This morning I've been running around hitting trees to collect wood to build furniture for my island, and Genshin Impact has become Animal Crossing.

I did get the first constellation for Bennett in the shop, and I've been scrapping up enough xp, mora, etc to get my free Diona and a bow for her up to level 60. I've taken her out for a test run and she's pretty fun. It seems the Twisted Realm in the new event seems to focus on shields in a lot of buffs, so hopefully she might help my party there, if I get her properly equipped and leveled.

I unlocked my teapot and slapped together a realm, so I'll do my best to regularly speed boost construction for the rest of you all when I can. The world building stuff is much more elaborate than I was anticipating.

I also spent a several hours trying to unlock the new boss. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that there were so many prerequisites attached. I've been slacking on my story quests. I got through Zhongli's Act 1 and Dainsleif's quest, but I didn't have time to get through Zhongli's Act 2 before the reset. I'll get that done this week.

The Dainsleif storyline had some fun reveals, but it made me wish they hadn't gone the silent protagonist route. Any emotional weight that was building dissipated every time Paimon cut in to narrate my thoughts. I hope they can find a way to move away from that in the future, especially considering they already have voice actors for the main characters.

One nice thing about Diona is how easy she is to build. You can just slap your best HP main stat artifacts on her for stronger shields. I think mine has around 21k HP at the moment.

No kidding! Such a waste of their voice actors!

Skip to 2:23:30 for a peak at what could have been...

When I finished the Liyue questline, I was shocked when the Traveler spoke.* If they spoke before I had forgotten.

Spoiler:

It was a throwaway joke about wanting to put up missing person posters in Liyue after being offered a reward for helping save the city.

Oh, also, I discovered something new (to me) this weekend... I accidently hit G on my keyboard and it brought up a bunch of entries explaining various things in the game. All of them were marked new and after paging through them all, I got primogems for each one I "read"- for a total of about 80 primos. I didn't realize I'd been sitting on that.

How's everyone doing in the Energy Amplifier Initiation event? Should we plan a get together in game to help up everyone's scores?

I feel like the amplifiers are designed around Diona, lots of shields, charge attacks, and cyro damage bonuses. I was laughing with how much damage I was doing with her in the Twisted Realm. Wish I could get close to those numbers outside of it! Can't image what numbers Ganyu players are pulling!

I really like the housing system, but I'm constantly torn between working on trust level, building up my coin collection, or actually starting to build the house I want. Been trying to find a balance between the first two, but neglecting the third is a drag. Just have to keep telling myself it isn't going anywhere, I just have to be patient.

I'd be up for someone to carry me to some bigger scores, ha. No way I'll get up to 15 or 20k combined to get everything. I just hit AR40 and have a few characters in the low 60s with meh artifacts so I can only run it on normal difficulty without too many amplifiers.

Is double-shielding a thing? I've been focused on building up my zhong-li as a shield support but keep pulling Diona's so wondered if it's worth running both at the same time.

It doesn't do anything. Whenever you take damage, all of your shields absorb it, so you effectively have one shield: the one with the most HP.

You look neat with the shields stacked up though!

---

I've managed 5k+ on each of the two domains so far so I'm pretty sure I'll be fine for the other two as well, but I'm happy to come along and help folks out if I'm available whenever folks try to meet up.

When were folks thinking? Should we try once all four are unlocked?

I've managed to get 2000 in each so far, and I think I could push the second a bit further with some luck and determination. But, I'm not pushing too hard, I've got Diona, the primogems and the crown from the store already. Everything else is farmable so I'm not missing too much if I don't max out my points.

I wound up finally pulling on the current banner after saving up enough for 3 ten-pulls. I'd like to get 2 constellations on Diona to strengthen her shield, and I wouldn't mind 2 more constellations on Noelle which would get her to C6. So, I figured if I got Yanfei that'd just be a bonus, and of course on the first ten-pull I got her. I haven't done anything to build her yet, since I've got very little resources at the moment.

My next ten-pull was a C1 for Diona, and the last was a Sacrificial Sword- I'll be farming the materials to level that up and give to Xingqiu soon.

Ganyu in the domain of furious thunder was hilarious. All those cryo/charged/bow fragments we got on the second Act lead to some 6 figure frostflake blooms.

I'd be down for some group action whenever. It's probably most efficient to wait until they're all unlocked, similar to how we did the Hypostasis event. Looks like that'll be Sunday.

Edit:
As for the teapot, I'm focusing on getting my adeptal energy up. Seems like realm currency is the bottleneck for everything, so maxing the earning rate asap seems like a solid bet. Buying and using the speedup juice every day. For only 50 realm currency, you can get 5 more purple items every day for ~500 more adeptal energy.

Congrats on the Yanfei pull, Tscott. I got Yanfei after trying her out, I did two 10-wishes and got: C1 for Qiqi, at 13 wishes a Favonius Codex (4 star book that doesn't seem to appear on any builds in the guide I've been using) 2x Noelle, who was already past her C6 some time ago, and... C1 Zhongli at 5 wishes. I guess I should be happy for constellations on 5*'s I already have, but they are not what I've been looking for and I was thinking I wouldn't be using Qiqi for anything anyways. That's right, I'm complaining about two super early 5*'s in a row, and three 4*'s in 20 wishes... I should be happy, right?

That sounds good. I believe the last one unlocks Saturday, so we could aim for that evening or Sunday, which ever is better for people.

I'm at a definite bottleneck with the teapot. I'm at trust rank 4, and elegant adeptal energy. I can only buy a few blueprints a day, but think I need a ton to progress- also, it's telling me that I've reached the limit of furnishings outside so I can't place anymore.

Also, the other night I was wondering around and discovered the use for the Stones of Remembrance that you get when you level up the Geo Statues. I needed less than 20 more Geoculus to max out the Statue and get the last stone so I focused on finding them all. That led to some interesting puzzles, some tough fights, and some good rewards.

Overall I'm pretty impressed with the puzzles scattered throughout the world - mostly in Liyue and the Dragonspine areas. They seem to be getting better at integrating these into the world and most I can figure out with some trial and error. Of course there's a few that had me turning to Google for the answers. Next I guess I'll focus on getting the Frostbearing Tree maxed.

The trick seems to be focusing on the sets and only putting the items that don't give you much energy like trees and rocks down if they are a part of a set. It's annoying because even if you have all the items in a set on your layout already, if you dont place them down together at once as a set, it doesn't count them.

Yeah, people have experimented with that and really anything complex or with animation adds two or three times more to the load limit then other objects, so things like animals and trees (due to all the leaves) are resource hogs. Just cut down to basic buildings, objects, and land-forms until you hit rank 5 and open up the second area on the map, then you will have plenty of load to work with between the two areas.

You'll also want to add in as many purple items as possible for now. As you open up more areas you can start to pretty things up, but for now the larger amount of adeptal energy they give you seem necessary to climb though the progression hurdles. Plenty of people have made "adeptal energy farms" in their houses, cramming as many folding screens into a room as possible.

Thankfully for me, the bookshelves are both purple items and items I had planned to use plenty of anyhow.

I'm not sure the sets offer anything other than a nice arrangement of items that are easy to put out. I know they don't offer any more adeptal energy than the items individually do, but I'm not sure if they offer any break on load.

Here's a spreadsheet that gives comfort per load.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...

I found it useful when I was restricted to one exterior location. Now that I've unlocked a second, I'll likely concentrate at least a *little* on aesthetics. I'm definitely guilty of making several dozen Pine Folding Screen: Billowing Sails.

As Mantid said, animals are a huge load, so having them outside really restricts what else you can place. For now, my menagerie is indoor only.

Aw, I guess I need to bring the dogs in. Hope they behave well with the cats.

So this is my current understanding of the crafting assistance in the Serenitea Pot from my experience assisting others.

- You can assist each person once per day.
- Excepting the above, there is no limit on the number of assists you can give per day.
- Each crafting can receive a 4 hour reduction. This full amount is given by a single assist by one friend.
- Attempting to assist when your personal limit or the full reduction has been reached has no downside.

I recall seeing that the original idea was to have a single person give 20 minutes, and it could add up to 4 hours total, but that was almost immediately patched out as extremely cumbersome.

So based upon the rarity of items you're crafting, you'll need assistance at varying frequencies/amounts each day.
- Purple (2 total assists, 12 hours apart)
- Blue (>2 total assists, 10 hours apart)
- Green (3 total assists, 8 hours apart)
Applying what we know from the first point above, that means you'll need help from 2-3 unique friends each day to reach maximum efficiency.

Assuming the above to be true, my strategy has been to attempt to assist everybody on my friends list every time I'm about to log off. The exception to this is that if they're online I'll try to ask if they need an assist as they might have things in the queue that they're speed crafting and an assist would be wasted. Theoretically I could try to remember who I'd helped since server reset and skip them for the remainder of the day, but that seems like a lot of work.

So if you see me pop into your teapot and then jet off immediately I'm probably just late for something and trying to get through my assist list before I log off. If you want to be part of my assist tour, shoot me an invite at 609376208. I look forward to occupying a significant fraction of your guest assistance log.

Sorry for going silent on you when you dropped in last night Peanut, I was menu surfing and on my phone. Swype typing on a phone while in landscape mode is a pain.

No worries, I hear that. Sometimes I just pop in for a second to redispatch expeditions/etc and talking while doing my logout routine is a right pain.

Yeah, don't sweat it tomaytohead. I've ignored peanut in my teapot too.
