Ghost of Tsushima Catch All

I played it when it released, and again when the DLC came out, but what I just started playing is Assassin's Creed: Valhalla. No comparison for me - I loved the many, many hours I spent in Tsushima, and am kind of hate-playing medieval England, trying to find some fun despite the game. I've found that for me the writing, the activities, and the environments are far more enjoyable and inviting in Ghost of Tsushima.

Pretty much the same for me. Valhalla just became a chore. I will same Tsushima starts to drag for act 3 but fun overall.
I need to go back and play the DLC on PS5 and see how the graphics are.

Just chiming in to say I loved the game. Wish I could experience it for the first time again

Picked this up as part of the PSN sale. About 5 hours in so far, I like it a lot. Anyone else just getting started with this game? I flipped between this and Elden Ring a few times over the weekend. Let’s just say I made far more progress on Ghost. :)

I just started it a couple of days ago. I was really looking forward to it, but am struggling to get into it. The combat is just not working for me, especially vs groups of enemies. It comes across as an awkward mixture of deliberate Souls-like and more freewheeling character action games. I keep getting killed by off screen enemies and I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be doing. Also the setting, while pretty (I'm on PS5), is a bit flat and the characters too dour for my taste so far. I can appreciate it's well made but I seem to be the only person on earth not vibing with it.

Well, if you read the earlier pages on this thread I think you’ll find a fair amount of dissatisfaction with the game. Toggling on the auto lock option helped me a bit with the gameplay. I find I have to swipe up a lot on the touchpad for the wind to noticeably blow and point me in the right direction. I like but don’t love the game.I’ll give it a few more hours. Keep me posted!

What a fool I was! Finished last night and thought it was brilliant, edges out Forbidden West and Days Gone in what is turning out to be my year of PS open world adventure games. At some point the combat just clicked into place, I actually started feeling like a samurai and it was all smooth sailing from there. Hope you ended up enjoying it too.

Congrats on finishing it. Slow but steady progress on my end. Indeed, a good game.
