So I just realized there's a big strategy sale on Steam right now through Monday morning. I'm open to doing final voting starting at noon tomorrow PST to give everyone a chance to take advantage of the sale. And here's the updated list - the only change I have to make is that CK 3 is too new for the house rules. So I will change that to CK 2.

I was surprised to see CoH in the list as I thought it more of a tactical game and don't most people play it multiplayer anyway? I'd perhaps be up for trying out a multiplayer game as part of GWJ International Days.
There's seven on the list I'd be happy to play (or at least try out), they are not at the top right now though

I believe that the Ardennes expansion has a strategy layer.

My goal starting the group is to first and foremost have fun. I don’t want to set a limit on strategy beyond ruling out games that obviously don’t fit - aka Fortnite or Mario Kart. If we want to eventually play Starcraft, Warcraft 3 or even FIFA Manager I wouldn’t be against it.
CoH has a decent single story campaign that would be fun even if you’re not into multiplayer.
