GWJ Strategy Gaming Group: Now Playing Midnight Suns

Company of heroes 2
Remnants of the precursors
Sins of a solar empire

Iron Harvest
Fell Seal: Arbiters Mark
Sins of a Solar Empire

I own just over half of these, so I have a good chance of playing the winner. That said, here are my votes.

Company of Heroes 2
Fell Seal: Arbiters Mark
Tooth and Tail

Fell Seal: Arbiters Mark
XCOM Chimera
Company of Heroes 2

Sins of a Solar Empire
Crusader Kings 3
Company of Heroes 2

Crusader Kings 3
Stars in Shadow
Company of Heroes 2

Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak
Phoenix Point
XCOM Chimera

Fell Seal
Tooth & Tail
Wargroove

And a reminder that Total Warhammer 1 is being given away on Epic right now. It's now the third Total War game I've gotten for free, but I still haven't fired any of them up yet. Probably will be when this club gets to one.

Crusader Kings 3
Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak
Stars in Shadow

Crusader Kings 3
Pavlov's House
Phoenix Point

We have some late additions coming in so I'm going to move the cut-off to tonight (4/3) at midnight EST/ 9 pm PST.

The results are tallied - here are the final five with links to the Steam Store:

Company of Heroes 2 (6)
Fell Seal: Arbiter's Mark (5)
Crusader Kings 3 (4)
Sins of a Solar Empire (4)
Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak (3)

Please vote for your top pick by Thursday 4/7 at Midnight PST. I'll then have the new page ready to go on Friday. We'll be playing this game through end of June.

PS - Ranks should be updated as of the last game. Welcome to all the new recruits! It's a little tough to track all the games folks have played so let me know if I should adjust your rank. Remember it's 1 rank per game and there are no set rules for beating the game or hours played. If you gave a decent faith effort at playing it counts.

Fell Seal.

And I defo played Mechanicus - probably the most hours I've put into any Strat Game Club game thus far, so gimme dem stripes!

Oh man, I'd be 100% okay with all of these (and own everything but Homeworld), so I can't really go wrong. That said, I recently bought Triangle Strategy and want to get to that, and that and Fell Seal are in the same genre, so I guess I'll vote for Company of Heroes 2.

Been meaning to knock Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak off of my pile for years now, so that's my pick.

Crusader Kings 3.

Hmm my top 2 are the top 2.

Guess I'll go Fell Seal

Company of Heroes 2 for me

Crusader Kings 3

Updated Jonman!

I need motivation to get my 1453 achievo so I’m going with

Crusader Kings 3

Fell Seal I reckon.

I too have played some Mechanicus, not a lot, just some playing alongside my son. Maybe he should join the club

I need to get back to it for myself properly.

Not particularly interested in Fell Seal - probably burnt out on that style of game - so I'll vote for:

Company of Heroes 2

I'd equally play any of the following, so I rolled a die for each...

Fell Seal: Arbiter's Mark [5]
Sins of a Solar Empire [1]
Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak [6]

My vote goes to Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak

It's past the due date for votes, plus I've never participated in this group before... however if all those things don't exclude my vote: I vote for Crusader Kings 3

Welcome Shawnosaurus! I just realized I had not updated the front post but we are still taking votes until this Thursday (4/7). It’s a close race so far so if anyone else is interested in the top 5 games make sure to vote!

Hmm, casting my vote for Crusader Kings 3 - been meaning to spend more time with the new DLC.

I'd play any of Crusader Kings 3, Sins of a Solar Empire, or Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak, so it was a close call.

Just a reminder there's just a few hours left. The final count is pretty close so if any of these games interest you, please vote!

Slightly out of context, but if anyone is interested and doesn't own it yet, then XCOM 2 will be the Epic Stores free game next week, 14th - 21st April

I'm probably going to put that on my kids' accounts so they can experience the joy of a 99% chance to hit miss.
