NFL 2020: Draft

Love to the Pats?

Reagor's NFL pro comparison is, not lying here, Nelson Agholor.

Justin Jefferson an odd pick. Lot of ability but haven't seen him beat press coverage and play outside, which seems like the kind of guy Minnesota needs with Thielen already there.

Of course the Patriots trade down.

Hope the Niners manage to do the same with #31.

Dammit, really wanted Kenneth Murray to be a Raven.

No sh*t?!? Lol

Didn't the Saints just draft a Center last year?

Yup. He's fast as hell, and he also dropped 9 passes on 92 targets last year, just a hair under 10%.

Ruiz probably moves out to guard. Not a great guard class this year at the top.

49ers trade UP to 25? Who are they targeting?

Mims? Aiyuk?

Nvm, everyone's projecting him as a guard. He's big enough.

It's Aiyuk. Good scheme fit, definitely a West Coast offense YAC guy, but not sure I wouldn't have just waited to see if he made it to #31.

New Orleans gets my respect for moving up for guys. Guess they were scared the Dolphins would take him.

The NFL Mocks have 3/4 the Packers taking him at 30 so I dunno if he would of slid.

I'm ok with the Packers trading back now.

Love is the new Aaron Rodgers!

Uho.

Aaron Rodgers is pissed off right now. I can feel it from here.

I didn't see that coming.

Rodgers to never suit up again? He's churlish enough.

And LaFleur looked really strangely happy about it.

Packers were one Niners last second win away from being the NFC's #1 seed last year. Now they spend their 1st rounder on someone that isn't going to give them anything in 2020.

Well, that's the point then, eh? Drafting for the longterm.

Seahawks take an off-ball LB and leave Wilson to continue running for his life.

Just seems odd for a team that's in a Super Bowl contending window right now, and has Rodgers under contract for 3 more seasons.

They know how long it'll take for him to develop and that's at least three seasons.

It's a good pick in that way, I tell ya. A+

Bill Barnwell
@billbarnwell
FWIW, first year the Packers could realistically move on from Aaron Rodgers would be 2022. So two seasons to evaluate Jordan Love behind Rodgers

Double Ugh.

I'd be less concerned if they were more active in free agency.

Brilliant pick if maybe there is no season anyways? I kid.

Apparently it's off-ball linebacker time. Ravens take Queen.

Kinda boring but need meets bpa.

Lamb at #17 seems like the last sure fire 1st round guy there was on the board. Everyone since has been players mocked in round 2 as often as round 1.

How long before Rodgers starts demanding a trade and the Raiders trying to get in on it?

And what the hell was up in Tennessee?
