NFL 2020: Offseason

Pages

People are moving houses.

Prospects are being measured, clocked and asked racist questions.

Blake Bortles sold his beach house.

What does that mean? It's the NFL offseason.

Greg Robinson was arrested in Texas. Cops found some weed. He's a FA this year and something tells me he may not play in the NFL ever again.

End of an era.

Not going to miss him.

"I sure will."

Mina Kimes tweeted, “So, he got flagged for holding?”

I'm just here so I don't get fined

I'm sure everyone will enjoy this lovely photo of Patrick until next year.

Please say that is your arm DSG?!

I guess I'll just sit here and await news on the new Eagles Offensive Coordinator and such.

Lol. No. I saw that on Twitter.

How many seasons until everyone is genuinely sick of and hates Mahomes?

How long did it take for people to turn on Brady?

I don't think people would on Brady for years after the Tuck game. When he and Giselle hooked up and he started appearing in fashion shots he started looking douchey, and the more he won, the more people just got sick of him.

TOOK ME JUST ONE F**KING GAME

I'm not ready to be back here yet. Bye for now.

157 pounds worth. That's the weight, not the UK currency.

Okay, yeah, didn't know that bit. Wow.

Bye bye 17 game season, thankfully. Hello two extra playoff games.

Wasn't that the year of spygate as well? I don't think the hate for Mahommes will ever get to the level it is for Brady. Numerous scandals, Brady doing just enough for the kicker to win them games, the Pats mocking Shawne Merriman's dance in 2006, running up the score in numerous games, Belichick's press conferences, the pushing of every rule possible, the whole TB12 brand, their location, etc. There's a lot of things that the Pats did to fuel the hate. A lot of the hate for Brady stems from hate for the Patriots, their owner, and their coach. Mahommes and Reid are a LOT more difficult to dislike. Even if they win the next 5 super bowls in a row I don't see the level of hate getting anywhere close to what it is for Brady. There will absolutely be people who are tired of hearing about how effing great he is but I don't see how it could rise to the same level.

You forgot Bill Simmons.

I like him alright, but the Patriots have one of the biggest, most nationally prominent homer fans.

I feel like that should have resulted in people getting sick of Simmons, not Brady.

RatBoy beat me to it. The weight of an average sized man...there or thereabouts.

I find myself bemused by this case.

(1) A quick Google suggests that Greg Robinson has earned about $30 million during his 5-year career. Even after taxes, he must have had $3 million a year in walking-around-money.
(2) Also, as an Unrestricted Free Agent in a league desperate for linemen, you'd figure he'd have been picked up by another team for at least another year and another few million.

Taking the two together, I'd have expected this kind of foolishness to be at least four year away.

What am I missing?

No that happened after they won 3 SuperBowls taping just about everything.

Yeah, cheating is the issue. Taints everything.

Just look at the Astros. Nobody feels good about that trophy now...

Also, Mahomes is an outgoing and enjoyable person in a way Brady has never been. Brady is a competitor, but Mahomes is closer to Favre in terms of outgoing nature.

I don't think anyone has to explain the difference in personalities between Reid and Belichick.

He's a moron and always has been.

He last played for the Browns, so his career is over.

The Factory clearly rubbed off on him.

I'm going to suggest that that particular thing also happened a long time ago.

I hate Simmons so much. Regardless of sport. It helps that I find Boston sports teams completely insufferable regardless of what sport they are in.

To be real he's probably the main weed guy for most of the team and his inner circle.. theirs always one for the most part in any circle of athletes/teams. He wasnt really doing this to sell on the street but rather at cost for probably 50 or so close friends/teammates. I had a buddy that would frequently go to Pittsburgh and drive home with a trunk full of 1lb weed bags (not 157 but probably 50-60) to distribute at cost to various friends.

Nobody is going to hate Mahomes because he has fun and he doesn't take himself too seriously.

Brady is an insufferable cheater who takes himself too seriously.

That's awfully optimistic. I think I'd probably have used the same words to describe Cam Newton a few years ago and that didn't stop a whole lot of people from hating him.
