Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Dodo: 48MV1 Stars & Celeste- bring a ladder she's top right cliff

Impressive shower rate, RJ. Turnip prophet thinks I'm over 50% to get a large spike this week. Hopefully I'll have the good price to share this week.

Edit: Claimed!

Bones is in boxes today if anyone wants him.

Winter Update is coming on November 19th with brand new seasonal events, reactions, hair styles, save transfer, and more!

There's a video out there, looks great.

Edit: house storage upgrade from nook. 800 more slots!

Same here as well. Currently projecting a 51% chance of a large spike to occur tomorrow pm.

If anybody's missing some fossils, I'm starting to accumulate a lot of duplicates. I'd be willing to dig through storage to find those pieces you're missing. They're starting to eat up storage, but I hate to see them go to waste.

I may come back to play regularly again-- hitting my storage max of mostly clothes and not knowing what to get rid of really cramped my gameplay. 800 more will get me a few extra weeks of seeing something I like and buying ALL. THE. COLORS.

Save transfer info

Looks like you can move whole island or move any non rep resident to another Switch finally, similar to previous games.

100% confirmed for large spike this week! Turnip Prophet is predicting anywhere between 218 and 654, so I'll check after my morning client work; and if I have anything above 500; I'll post a Dodo code here!

Octavian will be in boxes tomorrow, if anyone wants an octopus villager.

Meteor showers, haven't seen the Celeste

Dodo: closed

Celeste is here tonight. Top right of island. You'll need a ladder to reach her.

Feel free to take fruit from trees or DIYs from near square. Can also pull dup fossils from storage on request.

Dodo is closed

Redd is also here, but he's out of real art.

Aurora wallpaper in the seasonal tab of nook's app. Looks nice.

Celeste and Kicks are on the island tonight. Front left corner.

Dodo code is GXK4F

Closed now

Whole island is talking about aurora tonight. Not sure if this is the same for everyone, but I'll post a code tonight when they show up.

Northern lights have arrived. Dodo is B0VNQ

Not sure how long they last, but it seems to have faded in 30 mins.

Closed, they sure don't last long.

Well, I missed them, but when I got back I saw a bunch of shooting stars! I'll leave it open for a while in case anyone wants to harvest star-stuff.

Edit: closed, haven't seen any more stars for a while.

Celeste is here tonight giving out recipes. Haven't seen many meteors though. Midge is also teaching the pear hat.

I've also got Beau at my campsite and no room for him. Not sure if you're able to invite villagers from other islands campsites.

Dodo is 8BNC4

Edit: closed

Isabelle and all the other villagers have been talking about meteor showers all day, so it should be a good one. Already starting strong.

Dodo is 78WJC and Celeste is on the front left of the island.

Edit: closed

Last night I had my first ever meteor shower on my island, and I've been playing since the game came out. I don't know if it's a fluke that it took this long (not likely) or that I just didn't wait long enough for the showers to start (more likely) but I'd never experienced one before. Ironically it comes two days after I visited a friends island because he had one happening.

Last nights was pretty intense on my island too. I didn't even have to wait; they were falling fast even as I was trying to get around my cliffs to get a good view! Now what the hell do I make with all this?! Time to craft some wands I suppose!

You're a tea kettle! I brought you here so you could teach me about tea!

Lol

Pothead.

Gripe post, I apologize.

My wife has begun to play Animal Crossing. We're a multiple Switch family, but only had one digital copy of AC. And ooooooooh boy is the save system for this game a steaming pile of doodoo. I can't wrap my head around how they settled on such a convoluted system for the game. If it was all designed this way so folks wouldn't game the system to get items and whatnot, well, they now have one POed family who kept butting their heads on the weird and archaic way saves are setup.

Anyway, with two copies of AC now the wrinkles haven't been completely ironed out because she has to keep playing under my profile to keep her island or use her profile and start all over. *sigh*

Also, my eldest child started over months ago but what really happened because it's SO INCREDIBLY CONFUSING is he created a second person on an island who he spent a long time playing with waiting to earn his shovel, but couldn't ever get Blathers to show up because only the first person on an island can donate items to Tom Nook to get Blathers to show up. No wonder he dropped the game after a while, he had no shovel and couldn't vault anywhere! He never told us that because he assumed it was coming, eventually. Nope, Blathers would never show up because he accidentally created a second person for his island. Even I was SUPER confused when trying to delete the island and start over. In the end, deleting the save file is what worked.

Seriously, I spent hours today trying to get everything working correctly and in the end the best answer was to scrap it all and start over. Thanks, Nintendo, for your silly restrictions in what's supposed to be a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

My son and I are playing on the same island. It can get a bit annoying aye, especially when a couple of his schoolmates pop to the island for a visit and they all start landscaping around my house and pogging my peaches! I've only managed about 5 hours maybe so far, but my son has played a bunch more and is gifting me lots of useful things, like shovels and the like. So swings and roundabouts! It does get annoying at times' but i'm just taking it as it comes and trying to chill with it.
