I'm a few episodes behind because of life: have they announced when/if they plan to do the Bold Predictions show this year?

Every time I see one of those exaggerated walks, I think to myself, "A dude did that."
I wish you guys would stop encouraging him.

They have not (I'm halfway through this week's episode). I was wondering about that too. I know it can be hard to herd all the cats together (and Shawn is extra unavailable), but hearing those clips of everybody's misses (and hits) from a year ago is always a treat.
And I haven't seen a Post Your Own Predictions post for the community either, or scored myself for last year. Hmm.
Thanks for mentioning the predictions, folks. One the one hand, there are Bold Predictions plans...
On the other hand, regarding dedicated bold predictions podcast done in the ways of yore, I'm afraid it turned out to not be a realistically achievable goal for the show this year. Things are Extremely Different behind the scenes here than they were a year ago. I haven't been as forthcoming with the 'how and why' regarding some of the things you're used to from the last several years and how that may be handled differently now.
I sincerely appreciate your recognition of the challenge in pulling folks together to do predictions. There are a multitude of factors that can impact why that might be. Part of what I need to consider involves respecting the individual limitations of my friends both on mic and off, especially during times of difficulty, change, and adjustment.
I'm going to spend some time on a write-up for the front page over the next few days, so look out for something early next week. It's probably a good time for an update, so folks have a better idea of what they might see and expect going forward. I'll include Bold Predictions plans in it! For now, at least, I can talk about some of the new structures being implemented and, more importantly, the wonderful folks from within the community that have stepped in to take part in that process.
Thank you, as always. I'll get to work.
Telling Julian and Cory apart:
Julian's self-deprecating comments are much more laughing and joyous. Cory actually makes me worry about him sometimes. His self-deprecation has a nasty barb to it, at least to my ears.
Re: "content rating" games on the forum. There was a specific thread for that started by Harpo which i try to add stuff to when i can (although i've not done so recently - last one i added was for Sunken City when that was released).
Tropes Vs the Recently released
Also, ALL of the Nancy Drew games are on steam, and they're still making them I think - pretty sure one was released in the last couple of months. I own most of them but i've only played a handful so far. They're pretty good adventure/puzzle games, albeit a bit reliant on sliding block puzzles (grrr).
*props for the unreal engine Wheel of Time reference btw - that game still has one of my favourite soundtracks I'm using some of the tracks for my Roll20 D&D sessions.
inactive here until further notice.
On the bright side, I won't have my Super Bowl prediction held against me again.
I wish you guys would stop encouraging him.

Kitsune Kitchen sure sounds an awful lot like ProZD's "Chairem anime" sketch:
These Meebs-Karla-Lara podcasts are always amongst my favorites. Thanks so much. <3
Just so you know, I was talking back (in my empty apartment) as I was listening to the segment on Obra Dinn.
This part of the conversation resonated with me -- for the longest time I routinely mistook Julian for practically everyone else on the podcast. Oddly enough, though, I feel like Cory's voice was the first one I was able to fully distinguish. Listening to accents was good advice, I also feel like listening to the kinds of things they talk about are helpful (like how Allen talks about weird phone games that no one else would mention).

Yeah - what someone says is often as telling as how they say it. I've also been listening continuously for around a decade, though, so I've definitely had time to pick out the differences.
I still can't tell any of the Seans + Julian apart. I can tell they have different voices, I just can't tell who's who. At this point I don't think it's going to happen for me. Karla and Laura is easy, though. Obviously Karla is the person they have on who is obsessed with Dragon Age 2, whereas Laura is the person they have on who is obsessed with Dragon Age 2. Easy enough! (Completely different voices, though.)
The other way I find is really helpful to tell voices apart is to connect a face to a voice. Once I watched a Twitch stream of the live podcast, it became virtually impossible to get anyone mixed up because I had a voice AND face association!

In the beginning for me years ago I had trouble telling Shawn and Julian apart. There have been other all guy podcasts where I've had the same issue. I think it just takes time, plus as above the video thing helps.
Also, I think it's ok that bold predictions didn't happen this year o_________o
