NFL 2019: Week 13

Why is my team made up of the worst people? I remember when we were just terrible at football. Now we’re terrible at football and at being human beings.

Eat sh*t today, Lamar.

Love you again next week though.

Garapollo gonna throw 4 INTs today

DEEBO!

Feels like SF got away with offensive PI on that TD

I had thought so too but when I watched it from a different angle he was making a play on the ball.

Starting with the GB game. Assumption here is it should be over by half.

Weather is getting nasty. Should make for some comedy highlights.

Already a lot of rarities in this game. A Ravens punt, a td against the Ravens in the first quarter, a garrapalo turnover, and a td against sf in the first quarter.

Gonna be a weird game.

So watching the second Eagles offensive drive in this Miami game nobody cares about (and, really, I barely do at this point, so understandable), and I'm thinking back to the article Garion shared about Quarterbacks not being taught proper leadership and decision making skills.

Now, I'm steadily learning this game more and more, but I feel like one of the songs of Wentz praise was his ability to scan the field and adjust, even during the play. However, watching that play and this season as a whole, I feel like he's passing to whoever the playbook says regardless of the situation on the field. He throws to guys completely covered even when others are open. I understand that it is easy to "woulda coulda shoulda" on replays, but he's constantly thrown to Ertz, for example, despite the guy being a defensive target above all others.

Could this be an issue with the new offensive coordinator and/or quarterbacks coach? Am I making things up? Are there other more obvious explanations for Wentz to go from hot commodity to ...I dunno. It's like I'm watching a totally different guy.

Anyway, Dolphins scored, it's 10-7, if this turns into a close game I'm just gonna be frustrated, and if Eagles lose I'm done with this season.

Patriots flew to Texas in two planes. The regular one and the plague one.

Normally I don't have conspiracy theories regarding referee favoritism, but after an obvious illegal block to the back way more obvious and impactful than the brush to the shoulders Hollins was called for, and the incredibly blatant facemask right there on the slow motion that dragged the Eagle to the ground, I'm pretty sure Miami is being called in favor of the Dolphins.

How do you see that face mask turned into a face plant, throw a flag, then pick it up and say "nevermind, nothing to see here."

One of these things is not rare. Dammit Jimmy.

Lamar getting the soft roughing calls now. You've arrived.

What is with the STP and Soul Asylum outros on this broadcast?

What the hell was that, Dolphins?

Penalty on Sanders for touching Peters' back.

Should have to actually be a block involved for a block to the back.

*checks statline for Bucs-Jags*

Uh, wow, looks like a heck of game, too bad I'm missing it. Did Nick Files not bother you tell the team his collarbone is still broken or something? I mean, this is Tampa's pass defense.

Have to believe the Ravens will adjust to these outside runs by the Niners. They're absolutely gashing them.

One can only hope

A play that should have been stopped. Watch a replay. Sanders brushes against an Eagles defender that immediately stops paying attention to him rather than holding him back.

I'm glad I'm not watching it. Looks like Foles is doing a good job of erasing all doubt about who the Jags starting QB should be.

I'm ready for the offseason house cleaning. Time for Marrone to go. Going to have to Osweiler trade Foles to clear his cap space.

So the Dolphins ran the worst play in NFL history and made it work?

If I was going to make a football version of Major League, I'd use the Dolphins.

Also, Baker Mayfield is out and I'm pretty sure we're going to end up with even more fisticuffs eventually.

Yo Niners, stop roughing my guy.

They should be awarded a bonus win for that.

I don’t know what you mean?

Jackson with the fumble.

The Dolphins doing a sports thing.

We might not be good at football, but at least we're good at whatever that was.

Apparently that's the first Punter-to-Kicker touchdown pass in the Superbowl era.

Gardner Minshew's back at QB.

That was a soft PI call.

Makes up for the soft roughing call.
