Episode 3 looks the best.
Spiderman & Friends is on Disney+! The old show with Firestar and Iceman. I haven't checked it out yet, but I'm guessing it probably doesn't hold up.

It's got a great them song though
I'm going to be recovering from the some LIGHT (it's nothing serious) surgery on Monday and I'm in the mood to watch some ENJOYABLY bad films. (Nothing that requires too much brain power as I'll be on some pain meds.) What are the "best" bad films on Disney Plus?
ENJOYABLY bad films
Well right off the bat you have:
- The Cat from Outer Space
- The Black Hole
- Unidentified Flying Oddball
- Castaway Cowboy
- The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes
- Million Dollar Duck
- Herbie Goes Bananas
Just for starters.
Any of the Marvel movies.
I haven't gotten Disney+ yet. Is the Apple Dumpling Gang on it?

Both of them, yes.
Cool. I haven't seen them since I was a kid but they were the first to pop into my mind when the subject of enjoyable bad Disney films came up. You can't go wrong with Don Knotts.
No, no you can't.

I have just decided I'm going to re-watch all of Star Wars now. After viewing the prequel trilogy over the last week and a half or so, I re-watched Rogue One over the weekend. It was a lot better than I remembered! Actually, I guess I liked it pretty well when I saw it in theaters, it's just that I feel most of the online discourse I've seen about it in the ensuing years has been pretty negative, that it's a mess, obviously made up of pieced together re-shoots, doesn't really make sense. But, on watching it again, I don't really see any of that. I thought it was a fun, interesting movie, with lots of cool action. Maybe the characters were a touch undercooked, and I felt like it wasn't necessary to end on such a down note, but I enjoyed watching it. Next up: a little movie called "Star Wars."
Also The Mandalorian episode 3 kicked ass. I really wouldn't have guessed that Jon Favreau would be the right guy to write this. I just looked up his IMDB writing credits and confirmed what I'd thought--some good movies for sure (Swingers, Made, and Chef are all good, even if the latter commits the unforgivable crime of asking the audience to believe that multiple extremely attractive younger women are into a guy who looks like Favreau does now) but nothing remotely like this show.
I've never understood the negative discourse for Rogue One. It all seemed like petty things when I dipped my toes into the discussion just to see what was going on.
Mrlogical, we have a thread for that: Skywalker Saga rewatch
Oh! Thanks for the tip, Stele. I so rarely look for new threads, I suppose I should've known.
Is there any Miyazaki work on there?

I'm a defender of Rogue One's undercooked characters. They were all basically archetypes that work without all the nitty gritty details, something the prequels unfortunately reveled in and suffered for it. (Admittedly, my dislike of the prequels is that I sort of expected them to be the Clone Wars and not the setup to the Clone Wars. I don't think I've ever gotten over that, but that's probably because they have terrible acting and dialogue for the most part.)
I think a lot of the negativity was that folks didn't like Jyn. Too stoic, I believe is a common complaint. There's definitely a couple of parts that happen to move the plot forward (Saw Gerrara "no you go, I'll die here" being a big one).
I have more to say, but will leave it at that. If the conversation moves to the other thread, I'll comment there.

NO
HBO bought the rights to Ghibli stuff, the bastards.
I'm also watching all the canon Star Wars stuff, but I'm doing it in chronological order. This has the bonus of getting the prequels out of the way right from the start. You know your movie is bad when the politics are more interesting than the action or character scenes...
Is anyone using the Disney + app on a Samsung smart tv? When I try to watch the Mandolorian with this method is is really dark and unwatchable. Normal TV or media I do not have this issue on this TV. Thanks!

I used the Samsung Smart TV app to watch Duck Tales (woo-ooh!) and didn't notice any problems. I haven't tried The Mandalorian on it though.
On my TV (an LG not a Samsung but maybe still relevant?), the TV has a different set of picture settings for each input and sees apps as an input type. Maybe you're running into something like that?

Hmm I'll look into it

Ran into this last week with Jack Ryan on Amazon, the 4K option was so dark it was unwatchable. Switching to the non-4K option worked fine but we haven't seen the issue with any other shows/platforms.
I am mixed on the Mandolorian. It feels like it will be fun but (warning nerd rage?)
Everyone is saying baby Yoda but it can't be baby Yoda because this takes place after Return of the Jedi. Unless Yoda reincarnated but then how is he a force ghost in the new trilogy that takes place after this show?
I know I cannot bring this up in the office because they all love the show and I don't want to ruin it for them but this bugs me. Sometimes I wish I could just turn my brain off and have fun.
Not a fan of the vault system but I got Disney Plus so my mom can watch the Loki show. She was very excited when I told her.

I'll spoiler this just because the question was in spoilers but I'm not sure if counts as a spoiler.
Baby Yoda is just the name people used because Yoda's species has never been named in the Star Wars universe. It's like if someone said Baby Chewbacca if they saw a baby Wookie and they didn't know what the species was called. I don't think anyone actually believes it's Yoda. And I think more people are coming around now and calling it "The Child" as it's being called in the series.
I watched all of the Mandalorian last night. It was better than I expected and the first couple of episodes definitely had the ‘Star Wars western’ vibe but in the last two it got very tropey. I am also not sure that having different directors for almost every episode is a good choice when a show is just starting and trying to establish a feeling and continuity. I will definitely watch more but I hope it returns to quality of the start rather than the most recent episode.
I'm very close to signing up for Disney+ so I can watch the final few episodes of the Mandalorian- I watched the first 4 at my sisters with family over Thankgiving weekend. I'll agree the 4th episode got a little tropey- it reminded me of the 70s Incredible Hulk tv show.
Our hero arrives in a town, meets someone who needs help, helps them, but has to move on in the end.
I also want D+ to watch Star Wars Rebels- I saw the first season but then I ditched cable, and it never showed up streaming anywhere that I was aware of.
I am loving the Mandalorian, but Forky Asks a Question is the best thing on Disney+ right now.

Have you watched Clone Wars? If not, do that before Rebels.
