Diablo IV - Catch All

It is solo.
He had some treasure bag gear and probably some potions lined up.
Also, it is hard core.

Thanks all. On the topic of build guides, I go back and forth on those. They can either make me very motivated to play a game or have the exact opposite effect. For S4 I'm quite enjoying piecing things together as I go. If I discover I cap out quickly in the Pit or whatever endgame there is then that's fine.

Here is the video on how to build/level each class to 100 in 4 hours from Rax:

Think I'm going to try a Druid max companions build with avalanche, wind shear and bulwark.

TADAM!
Level 100 Necro
It was pretty fun for the most part until the 90's.
Some nightmare dungeons were quick but only netted 1/4 level or even less.
Some netted nearly 1/2 even at level 99. Events made a difference but the tasks you had to complete to progress through the dungeon also made a difference. (time and XP)

I could probably take another class up to the 80's but I really don't think I'm going to get another to 100 until the expansion or another season. (unless they revert the leveling speed, which would cause me to quit and sour on getting the expansion)

I have not pre-purchased the expansion which says a lot. Really sh*tty pre-order bonuses and I am not thrilled about the new class. 1 - I would have loved to have had an assassin or amazon. 2 - I do not trust these devs with handling a "never before seen" class.

Paladin class?

I finally hit 100 with my Barb last night. Took quite a bit longer since I'd only pop 1-2 NMD per day with maybe a short dip into Helltides.

For the first time I was able to confidently defeat a couple Helltides Champions last night. I haven't made huge improvements to my gearing or Paragon board so I'm not sure what changed or if I got lucky and pulled a couple wimpier variations of these champs.

Roughly, what were your Armor and Life values when you first reached Level 100? Or even as you were working through the late 90s?

I think my necro was almost 12k armor and 10-11k life.
I was sort of squishy in certain circumstances. I wasn't one shot but at times it appeared I was when I got hit in succession. Like some elites would TP to me and take 2/3 or 3/4 of my life and then a tiny fraction of a second later any number of things would take the rest.
At the same time, I could tank the Butcher for 10 seconds before running away for a few seconds and going back for more.

I don't think I have a lot of fortification. I do have some but I have something else that puts a red ring around my health that gets chewed through first before actually taking away hp. I do have life per second and life per kill. The road from like 12-15 to 100, I probably used health potions a dozen times. Definitely less than 20 so if that is any indication how comfortable leveling is with minions.

The highest ND I did was level 58. About 1/3 of them I struggled with multiple deaths but still completed. So I am sure I could push into the 60's before I hit the wall.

Oh, and the shocker? The golem... He hit so hard and then after a bunch of paragon points, he could munch through packs of elites and melted dungeon and helltide bosses.

The armor cap against level 100+ mobs is 9000-something.

I had just passed 50K Attack on the character sheet, 21K Armor and 20K Life. I was in the mid-high teens on the defensive stats for the longest time. Always felt like my Barb was squishier than the average Barb. Certainly squishier than anyone following a guide I'm sure.

The one-shot queen for me has always been the Helltides Blood Queen so I need to test myself against her now that I'm 100 and ready to play the 'real game'.

I need to look up guides to grok how everything gets calculated. I remember seeing a lot of talk about "damage buckets" soon after D4's release but don't know if anything major has changed since then.

It changed massively with this latest season "loot 2.0"
Like the aforementioned armor cap at 9000. Prior to this season all you wanted to do was stack armor. It was so much more valuable than resistances.

I forgot to mention that my golem also absorbs 30% of my damage IIRC.
I wonder if I can sign in to battlenet and see what my attack is right now... BRB

Got my first lvl 100 and nearly going to complete a Season for the first time. I have Lilith or torment Duriel/Andarial to go.

RNG has been giving me nothing lately. Varshan refuses to hand over a TalRasha after more than 20 goes.

I feel like I'm kinda stalled out at the moment. I can barely dent any of the 3 targets I have left for the season and I'm not sure how to power up to take that on. I'm pushing 50 in the pit, 60+ for NM dungeons but not sure how to find the next quantum leap other than get lucky on a lot of drops.

It was the first time this season I've logged on and pondered what I want to try and do.

Yeah, this is going to be the first season that I don't finish the journey on because neither of the builds on my two 100 characters are any good at uber bosses. I can almost get through Lilith phase 1 with my barb but I don't have the patience to pound my head against the wall for it. I could switch over to the bash build but, again, don't really feel like it.

I'm happy to group up for any of Tormented Duriel / Andariel / Uber Lilith if folks want to take a shot at them. (I've downed Duriel and Andariel with my necromancer but Lilith seems a bridge too far).

(I'm Dimmerswitch#1318 on Battle.net)

I hit 100 on my barb and I don't want to grind for marginally better gear... probably done for the season unless they do another event.

I would like to take you up on that please.
Timezones might be tricky but I'll try to find a time that suits you.

Where do Tormented Andariel and Duriel rank vs. Lilith? I'm running low 60s pit, 80s NMs. I tried Lilith and when I realized I was barely scratching her, I just gave up.

Sent you a friend invite. My name is pants#(some numbers). I'm really flexible time-wise as long as it's not between 2 am and noon.

I would say pretty similar in DPS requirements. The biggest problem with Lilith is the stupid 1-shot mechanics, but those can be mitigated if you can get your hands on a Melted Heart of Selig.

Tormented Duriel and Andariel solo are very class dependent, but I would rate them at roughly the same difficulty as pit 90-100.

Dimmerswitch and I did an uber Duriel yesterday. We both started on barb. That did not go well. His aoe stuff just makes it hard to get in to do damage on him. Dimmerswitch switch to necro and it went better but I was still dying constantly to aoe poison garbage so we failed a couple more times. After seeing how much more damage he was doing with a minion necro I decided to switch to my minion necro even though I hadn't touched her since the second week of the season (not like I could be more worthless). The fight is incredibly easy with two minion necros even one that is far from optimized.

For something never seen before, the spiritborn looks an awful lot like the D3 monk. (reskinned)
