NFL 2019: Week 3

That was incredibly depressing.

Yes, quite.

Where's Mike Singletary to scream, "We are not a charity!"

And there goes Saquon.

Why is Carson still playing for the Seahawks?

Three lost fumbles in 1.5 games, slipping on big gains, couldn't get a 4th and 1.

Chiefs!

Missed seeing that elite passing Jackson. They may want to consider a real QB for 2-point conversions.

Tony Romo, who will live in SEA infamy for 2006 and putting The Big Tuna out of football coaching permanently, is amazing at calling the play.

SEA gets within 13 on a called Wilson keeper where he faked to the RB.

Tony: "Watch Wilson here, he's looking at the corner. I'll bet he fakes it to the RB and then takes it over there."

Boom. 6 points.

I’m not sure what’s worse the Eagles collective lack of talent on defense or Jim Schwartz inability to gameplan around whatever strengths they might have. Maybe they just all stink that bad.

FIVE turnovers? Come on.

I don't think I've ever seen as many free turnovers as the Niners have served up to the Steelers in this game. 3 in the red zone.

Kamara is something else. Seahawks players just bouncing off him. Considering it's a unit led by Bobby Wagner who didn't miss a single tackle all year last year, it's pretty amazing. Hats off.

Now I'm nervous every time someone is in motion.

Just don't f*ck up and they got this.

Niners win!

A close game that shouldn't have been close. 5 of the softest turnovers you'll ever see, 3 that took almost guaranteed points off the board.

Wow that's some arm toss!

Meanwhile, still waaaaay early, the Giants may have themselves a new franchise QB.

So happy for Teddy B to finally get a regular season win again.

Admittedly, it is nice they've moved on from Eli finally. He was painful to watch.

Yeah as much as I like Eli, Jones just brings a whole different dynamic to the game.

Daniel Jones proves the doubters wrong!

The greatest rookie QB since Gardner Minshew

I'm actually wondering if the Defense isn't actually as bad as they seem because everyone else in the NFL has figured out that Darby can't cover for crap, and therefore always throw to whoever Darby is supposed to be "covering".

I try to also take the glass half-full approach and consider that Eagles only lost by 3 points with a bunch of key players absent.

The no-call on the facemask against Miles Sanders is crazy. Damn glad Miles wasn't injured in this one:

Can't believe this kid grew up to be Kyle Allen. Wow.

I'm cheering for Baker Mayfield for the second week in a row, and I don't care for it that much.

But he played against Gregg Williams last week, and the Rams this week, so *sigh*, go Baker.

Tampa's Shaq Barrett is on pace for 42 sacks.

He was a beast yesterday vs the Giants! Constant pressure, sacks, and forced fumble. I was getting frustrated Solder wasn't getting more help on that side.

Warren Sharp is tearing the Browns O play calling a new one.

I don't know what's going on with the Browns, but clearly Kitchens is over matched at this point, struggling. He called a draw play on 4th and 9. That's being too cute.

You get cute when you are overmatched and have no chance of playing it straight up. That is not the case for the Browns. They have talent. They don't need to get cute or gimmicky. 1st and goal from the 4 shouldn't be pass, pass, pass with an empty backfield.

This is why Eagles fans are legendary.

I don't have a problem with the passing that much, at all, but to do it from the same lineup without any motion to help your QB have more info? You're just hurting your team. This reeks of hubris since they have so much talent. Have OBJ, run slants over and over and force it to him isn't a gameplan.

Edit: Here's his other Tweet. That's just horrible playcalling. Overkill.

Danny Dimes!
Finally happy to have something to cheer about. I almost forgot what it feels like. Did we have to sacrifice Saquon though?

Daniel Jones now has 4 Touchdowns and Baker Mayfield has 2. Lesson: Shut your mouth and play.
