I need to pay more attention to how each feature relates to each other, I feel like I can portray the essence of lips and eyes and noses separated, but drop the ball with the proportions between all pieces.

I keep thinking about Inktober and changing my mind, but I think I have finally decided what I want to do this year. I will have 5 categories with 6 drawings each, and the last one will be a Halloween picture that will most likely involve my dogs and cats and perhaps even my bearded dragons, we'll see. The five categories will be:

1. Star Wars
2. Batman
3. Masters of the Universe
4. Transformers
5. Vehicles

I only have a few ideas so far, so I am accepting suggestions from you, my dear friends. I make no promises, though!

You could also do weird batmans from alternate universes like the many spider-mans of the multiverse. That could be fun.

Another option for the transformers could be the 6 constructicons, and then all them combined into Devastator for your bonus.

You could do moody portraits of Masters of the Universe characters in semi shadow. You could also do drawings of the wider Batman family. There are lots to go at.

Yep. It's been dwelling on my mind lately, which seems to have had the side-effect of siphoning away my inspiration to draw anything all month.

Thanks! I wanted to practice more shading / volumes? instead of relying on drawing a few lines and be done with it, not my forte, but if you don't try doing the things you're not good at you can never improve them, right? Now, cross-hatching is an entire different beast, do not attempt improving crosshatching, like, ever.

Curious how easily you can deviate from the actual person into another, I think the eye is the key, on the reference it's looking more out of frame to the right, I couldn't match that well enough and she ended up looking more to the top-right and becoming an entirely different person in the process : )

Great drawings. What a character Maggie Smith was.

I’ve done a sketchy cartoon inspired by a fight with a bear in Seven Days to Die where I tried using pipe bombs. It went as well as you might expect.
